I couldn't ignore the tingles that ignited as he gripped my wrist and held them above my head. I felt the bark of the tree stab into my back as he had me pressed against it. I bit my lip, not from excitement but from fear. He raised his lips up to my ear and growled. 

"There is nothing between you and I. You don't deserve to become the Luna of my pack, you are weak." He hissed into my ear. 

I watched as he walked out of the forest. I heard my heart shattering to pieces.

Roman angrily walked towards me as I smirked at him, watching as he untied me from the tree and quickly followed after his Alpha.

I quickly walked back towards the house to create distance between both Roman and I so I wouldn't have to see him for the rest of the day, I wouldn't want an accident to happen where I break character. I noticed Natasha and Taylor conversing on the couch and as I quietly tried to walk by to avoid interaction, Taylor turned to me with a big smile on her face.

/"Ava! Come sit with us!/" Taylor chirped.

I mentally face palmed myself as I reluctantly walked over and sat on the far end of the sofa, away from Taylor.

/"Sorry you had to witness Derek and I yesterday, peculiar that you barged into his office anyway but I'm sure you'll understand once you find your mate,/" She grinned, almost as if she were bragging.

/"Well I had a mate,/" I muttered to myself but she seemed to catch every word.
