/"How about showing just how strong you are oh great Black Winged Assassin,/" He taunted me as his fingers skimmed up the side of my body until he reached my clavicle where he gently caressed it before putting his hand back down.
I shouldn't be playing along with his games, I shouldn't be feeding into his tricks. He was trying to get a rile out of me and see how far he could push me but I couldn't feed into it.
But isn't that what made me mortal before?
Just because we were Angels doesn't mean we were perfect, and I for one loved being cocky and showing just how beneath me mortals were.
It was my turn to grin.
