The least of our problems
Ian's POV
/"Have you guys told anyone about this?/" I asked, locking my hands on the desk.
The kids spared each other a look and shook their heads. I had already interrogated them. It was obvious they only went to the lake to have fun.
/"Good,/" I said. /"Let it stay that way./"
/"But Master Ian,/" Tristan started. /"won't the students deserve to know what's going on?/"
Hannah nodded in agreement.
/"No./" Albazar sat on the desk. /"One death won't cause panic. But another in a span of days is sure to make the students start talking ./"
I carefully watched the recruits' countenance. Scott avoided eye contact with Albazar. His shoulders tensed a bit and he gulped.
/"Scott./"
His head shot up as I called his attention.
/"I'm sorry your birthday turned out this way,/" I said, sending him a comforting smile.
/"Its alright,/" He uttered.
