#Chapter78
Hugging tracks
Ian's POV
I pressed my earpiece as I entered the stadium's lobby. This was so ridiculous. I've never raced on a track before. The only thing I know I've done that's close to this is a car chase.
The lobby was white tiled and walled with sparkling white. People bustled along it, holding their flyers in their hands. At the corner a security man stood with a rifle in his hand. A woman dragged her child away from the man when they reached him. Humans didn't like the sight of violence before them. But they watched fights at home on TV, how hypocritical. This was one of the reasons why I didn't let the mission team use their powers outside. If this woman was scared of just a gun, imagine how she'll react if she saw a halfsnake.
/"Where's the room?/" I asked, glancing around.
/"At the far right,/" Albazar replied over the communicator.
