#Chapter116
: Someone knows
Janos' POV
I couldn't believe he'll do such. I knew something about him wasn't right. No one in their common sense will do what he did. I loved the queen and didn't want her to live with someone like Talus.
The stream before me burbled as its water ran past tiny boulders. The sun rays struck on the stream, it's crystal blue glistening. I took a deep breath and glanced around me. Tall trees surrounded me, the views of the sun seeping past them.
I didn't know what to do. If I told the queen the king might deny the accusations. And from what I knew, the king could execute me if he wished. I ran a hand down my face. I never knew keeping secrets could be this hard.
Twigs cracked behind me.
I swiftly picked up my sword and swerved.
/"Relax, it's just me,/" Lord Fontus said.
I let out a sigh of relief. Lord Fontus was graced in a purple robe as usual and his grey hair burbled was comed backwards.
