Dalios' POV
Power was everything. Power was all I ever wanted. Power was the reason I could do whatever I could do. I smirked and sat on the wooden chair.
The room had a bed against the wall where a woman sat. Her long black hair fell over her back and the sun glared on her white skin.
I cleared my throat. /"Andeline./"
/"Yes, My king./" She locked eyes with me.
/"Do you hate me?/"
She gulped and started at her hands. I knew she did. Why wouldn't she? She was locked this room for months all because her husband hasn't done what I told him to do. She was the leverage I had to make sure Fontus did his job.
/"Answer me or I kill your husband./"
/"I don't, my king./" She wrapped her arms around herself.
