But the dungeon wasn't so bad, as it is full of silence. Save the clicking sound of my footsteps against the cold floor, some low pained groans here and there, and some muttering. Everything else were barely audible. I couldn't even make of any of it.
At first I thought that there are a lot of prisoners that were being kept in here, even with the silence. I thought maybe the prisoners were about to die anyway, lacking the energy to scream the moment someone entered.
But when I walked further in, I realized that the only prisoners they have are not more than two, with faces I can see even with my eyes closed.
First I saw was Zelos, who was curled up in the farthest corner of his cell, unmoving. His chin was pressed deep between his knees, his eyes shut close. Both his arms hugged himself, while he was muttering something to himself.
