This entire thing was new to Madison and Jeremy. Both were completely engrossed in everything we did. I could only dread their reactions when I take off my mask.
/"So, you're like... Personal assassins./" Maddison questioned, her eyebrows knitted together, creating a puzzled look.
/"Basically./" Lacey let out an exasperated sigh.
/"Oh my goddess!/" Maddison yelled, /"Lacey?/"
I put my hands on the meeting table, the black-polished marble was cold against my burning skin.
/"Let's not be too irrational./" I mumbled, /"we will unmask ourselves.../"
Leader Allie stepped up, her eyes watched the Alphas and Lunas with great caution.
/"You can not tell anybody who they are./" She tightened her lips into a flat line.
/"Their identities will forever remain a mystery, am I understood?/" She asked, once again.
/"Yes./" The leaders responded, anticipation laced throughout their voices.
