#Chapter60
6 years later...
/"Mayor! No!/" I all but cried as my 3 year old ran past my door, the tip of an expo marker placed against my wall while doing so.
I dropped my sandwich and ran after the giggling child, who wasn't hard to find because all I had to do was follow the long blue line going down my walls.
I rounded the corner that led to the kitchen, it was way to quite.
I felt my heart stop when I realized the blue line ended at the pantry door... oh god.
I quickly swung the door open to reveal a 'winter' wonder land in my own pantry.
My daughter was sitting in the middle of the floor, the flour bag was right next to her in tatters. I let out a sigh of defeat as I picked up my kid.
As if the Goddess knew I needed help, the sound of the front door opening and closing made my heart soar.
I smelt them before I saw them.
