#Chapter38
We walked in silence, our tiny argument lost, but the tension still lingered.
/"So, we have to be as quiet as possible./" Isaac whispered once we reached his back door. He reached into his pocket and let out a silent curse. I giggled before taking a step down, and picking up a little angel statue. No the key wasn't under the Angel, but inside the Angel. There was a huge gapping hole in the bottom of the hollowed angel, inside that hole was the key.
/"That's kind of creepy.../" He trailed off, his green eyes watching my every move.
/"I basically lived here Isaac... At one point I did live here./" I mumbled walking back up the steps, and unlocking the door.
/"Why do we have to be quiet?/" I asked referring to his previous statement.
/"John and Grace... It's rough. They probably won't want to see you./" He whispered.
I pushed the door open, but didn't walk in.
/"Should I leave?/" I asked raising an eyebrow.
