#Chapter15
HIS LOOK OF CONCERN
The sun had now risen already yet her still crouched figure remained unmoved.
The tiny specks of dust seemed to float in the shaft of afternoon sunlight that slanted through the window.
Waking up is no longer the pleasure it was as Emaya sluggishly opened her reddened eyes, finding herself laying on the floor, alone as usual, her mind still dizzy by the memories of last night.
Loneliness was eating her alive, swallowing every once of hope she had yet to spare.
It feasts upon any happiness she has left, leaving behind an empty carcass; full of despair and dark memories.
It craves for her to suffer a life without any warm hands embracing her, or any shoulders to go cry upon.
Her muscles felt weak, just like her energy. She glanced at her watch realizing she had already missed her school and didn’t want to miss the first day of work as well.
