#Chapter56
HER FEARS FADES AWAY
The sun was climbing out of the deep well of winter, yet it was still cold. The bright rays of just-risen sun poured in through the window, waking Ash up.
The first thing he saw as he sluggishly opened his eyes was Emaya, sleeping soundly in front of him, curled up, wearing Ash’s warm, oversized sweatshirt.
Ash got up and walked towards Emaya as he leaned down, placing his warm hand over her cheek to check the temperature. Her fever was finally gone and she was in a much better state now. He tucked the blanket around her properly before lazily walking towards the kitchen.
He made breakfast for himself and Emaya but didn’t wake her up or the stubborn girl would insist to go to school with him instead of having rest she needed desperately.
