#Chapter29
I woke up in a poorly lighted room, with my eyes and body feeling ever so heavy. It was hard to adjust to the strange yellowish colours around me, that the small lamp caused. It was hanging from the ceiling.
The smell told me I was in a basement, but it didn't seem like one. I could catch the sight of a small, pink wardrobe, with stickers all over its door. I was sitting on the ground, but to be fair, it was way too soft to just be the floor. A carpet. I guess.
As my eyes slowly got used to the dark, I could look around...
My whole body began to shake, starting out from a horrifying shiver that ran down my spine, but the trembling didn't stop at that. I felt panic rushing through my veins in an unstoppable manner. I'm sure all blood left from my face as I stared wide-eyed at my childhood room.
