Her petite fragile form was curled up within the cage that kept her prisoner from the outside world, she was frozen on stage, awaiting her inevitable doomed fate as the auctioneer began his speech.

“And for our last auction today, we have a rare human girl. As you can see, her eyes are wild, they’re different, unique. She is a virgin, still pure and untouched. She will make a perfect blood slave.” 
The words ‘blood slave’ they confused her, her eyes perked up into a shock as she looked over to the crowd of thirsty blood sucking creatures that were waiting to sink their teeth into her delicate skin. 
She had no idea.

THIRST 

<p>Iris whispered out as she brought over a bottle of water for me before sitting beside me on the bed and running her delicate fingers through my hair gently. </p>

<p>The fight with Julien, it had become explosive, we both ended up hurt to a point that our healing process was taking longer than usual, though he was in a much more severe state than me, he still had managed to mess me up pretty good. Iris, she had been taking care of since we got back home, tending to all of my needs, but it wasn’t water and soup I needed to be able to heal quicker, it was blood. I had lost a large amount of blood and I needed it back in my body to heal faster, I needed to feed. She was taking care of me in a human way and I’m not sure she realised that a blood demon wouldn’t get better on soup but I didn’t want to mention it to her, she had been so attentive and nurturing that I enjoyed watching her in her element. </p>
