Elijah and I avoided each other like plagues after the incident that took place, for me I couldn't care less but to Alexei who came daily checking on his favorite couple as he calls us; it was comical for him. Once outside, I became his utmost priority; at home we are strangers living together. In as much as he was always with me, outings, shoppings, strolling in the twilight or at home, we never said a word to each other. Sitting on the patio with my not so favourite person Alexei whose face held amusement all through watching Elijah entertain his calls few feet away from us with me acting insouciant of his presence.
/"I can't believe you did that to Vlad. You are evil./" Drinking out of his bourbon glass letting out shuddering chuckles, I fight the urge to roll my eyes. Crossing a leg over the other showing off the dangerous slit on my flowery sundress which rose up high to my thigh. My freshly manicured feet swing randomly on my nude wedge.
