 The relief on Timeless and Zeno's faces was palpable as the soldiers charged towards the vines, their swords slicing through the thick tendrils like a hot knife through butter. The woman leading them gracefully dismounted from her beast and approached the two men with a concerned expression etched on her face.


 "Are you two alright?" she asked, scanning them for any visible injuries.


 "We are fine, thanks to you and your team," Timeless replied gratefully.


 "My name is captain Rivera, and I've been dispatched to investigate the strange occurrences ongoing in these parts. You're the first set of people I've encountered other than those that lingered at the entrance of the grove watching the scenes unfold. Did you perhaps get a chance to witness what caused this strange event? Anything you witnessed, no matter how little, would aid us in our investigation" Captain Rivera explained
