Violet's POV
The next few days go by in a blur. I never would've known how lustful a woman I became. Thinking about it makes me so embarrassed. I need to be prepared for the next Blood Moon and lock myself in the room. The things I did to Jee, geez I am too shameful to even think of them again. We have explored every inch of each other's body over and over and over again. There was no such thing as time for anyone during the Blood Moon.
Waking up next to an exhausted Jee every morning fills my heart. I am so glad I finally gave him that chance to be my male. I know that he enjoys every bit of it. There are times where I feel a different or more serious Jee comes into play but most of the time I don't think I mind it. I mean if humans can have mod swings so can beasts. I look towards the window and see a shadowed figure coming to our tree-house. Jee left to go bait the next traps and bring back some fish for breakfast so I know it's not him. I hear a knock at the door and see that it is Ian, the doctor.
"Good morning, Violet." Ian says to me
"Good morning. What brings you here?" I ask him
"Just doing my routine rounds. I have finally had a chance to come visit you." he says smiling back at me
He might look like an innocent doctor but his smile is more than just a welcoming smile.
"What does this routine consist of?" I ask him curiously
"Well I just am going to do a checkup on you. Since the Blood Moon has past we check on the females to make sure they are not sick, any issues with pregnancies or issues with your body. How has the last few days been for you?" he asks curiously
I blush when I think of Jee and my body closely together the last few days. Amazing!
"Looks like you had some fun, that is good. Remember that you still need time to rest." he says to me and looks around
I see him eyeing the bowls and cups that we made.
"Do you like them? I am trying to perfect them and add a few designs to see if we can use them for trade. If you want a few you can take some." I suggest to him
"You really mean it?' he asks happily
"Sure! The more advertising the better. Everyone else would want it." I say back to him pleased
"Sounds good to me." he says and walks around the house
I am not too sure if this is a natural etiquette that they do when visiting others home but I don't mind it since there's not much. He views the window and a few plants I have growing in the house. He checks out the bathroom area and looks outside towards my clothes line. Staying in doors all day for the past few days made me bored. So I was able to build a clothes line for me to wash and dry our clothes outside.
"Do you like anything else?" I ask him
"I like everything. Did you think of all of this by yourself?" he asks me
"Most of it, yes. Jee helped improve my ideas and we just made it work." I say back to him proudly
"You both make a very strong pair. I hope to see little ones soon from you two?" he asks curiously
"Little ones? Oh I don't think so." I say back to him
I can't have kids here and then abandon them when I leave. I already feel so guilty about Jee. That is why I don't want any other males. I have to make up everything for Jee since I could not control myself during the Blood Moon. I also want to research more about the Blood Moon too. I wonder if this doctor will know more about it.
"You mean you don't know about royalty and children?" he asks concerned
"Royalty and children? Doesn't everyone naturally want children?" I ask him
"Well yes but for royalty children are more than just kids to the family line." he says to me questioningly
"I am not too sure what you mean." I say back to him concerned
Why do I feel like there is more than what he means to this and that it's very important?
"The royals are all about their bloodline. If you can't produce an heir you lose your bloodline. That's why royals are so lethal and having children is so important to them. Without an heir they won't be able to join their family throne. They also can't continue their line as well. You would know that " he says back to me concerned
"Thanks for letting me know. I will consider it." I say back to him confused
"Consider it? Is Prince Jee not one of your males?" he asks
"He is." I say back to him confused
What is he trying to get about?
"He must have an heir as a royal prince or he loses his seat at the throne." he says back to me concerned
I didn't know anything about this. Now Jee won't have a seat on the thrones because I won't be giving him any heirs. I have to think of something soon. I don't want to be the downfall of Jee. He has taken care of me for the past few weeks and I would just feel super guilty leaving him like that without being able to stay with his family.
"What's wrong, Violet?" he asks me
"Nothing. It's just something I wish I knew about before." I say and then stop myself
"Before starting a relationship with a royal?" he asks
"Yes. I never would want to burden someone if I wasn't ready." I say back to him sadly
"Interesting." he says back to me with a weird expression
"What is it?" I ask him
"Oh nothing. Let's get on with this checkup. I want to make sure I get through everyone before I go back." he says to me and motions me to sit at the table
"This is a table and these are seats. It's easier to cook on or cut or do things while standing up instead of sitting down. I have noticed that everyone here puts everything on the ground and I hate when dust has a chance to get into the food we eat." I say back to him
"I was wondering what these were made to do. This will help so much in my home. I use tree stumps to hold everything in order in my home. This table and seats would be able to create so much more space and it would look very organized." he says back smiling to me
"Before you leave you should take a tour of the whole village. I know that the males would not mind sharing a few things here and there." I say back to him
This guys mind, I can see it running like clockwork. What is he thinking? I don't have a good feeling about this.
