Sand Castles YAY!

Formations, the joy of being a formation master. While I have yet to truly digest all the formation and runic knowledge in my head, I can tell that just understanding a single percent of it is enough to make me leagues ahead of anyone in this world. Maybe not Tenkai. I haven't been there yet and have no real desire to. Sure, one day, I will need to go there to absorb the remains of the monkey king's divinity, but that's for future Sunny to figure out.

Building a formation or setting arrays for spells is very similar to computer programing. You have a core rune or bind rune that reaches into the fabric of reality and demands action. Surrounding that, you will have rings. Some larger and some smaller. Larger rings are used for broad strokes defining the action, and the thinner, smaller rings are the details of how to accomplish the larger rings. So to sum it up, big rings send information to change reality. While small rings are the details of the function. The who, what, when, where, and why of reality.

The most important piece of information in my mind is all the base runes and common bind runes up to the nascent soul realm. I can tell I have far more runic information stored in my mind, but it's like it is housed behind a fog. As though the library of my brain has restricted access beyond a certain point. Regardless of its restrictions, I know enough to build this damned sect city with just raw runic constructs. Also, while I might not have the full divinity of Sun Wukong at this moment, I still have a far more solid 'mind' than any normal mortal could.

Picking the dead center of where I wish my future city sect to be, I build a runic array in my mind for a capstone, if you will. A true core to which I will build a formation to summon the walls of this monstrosity that I am about to build. This stone must be thick and round, about a foot thick and six feet round. The array takes form, a core rune of creation, not divine creation but of superb mortal creation. As though the array represents a master stone mason who dedicated countless lives to stonework and the understanding of the earth.

The surrounding ring is for the gathering of sand and air, the molecular recombination into a supreme and perfectly sculpted disc of Obsidian. The next defines the dimensions of the final product, its lifespan set to permanent, and the smoothness and density of the materials. Another ring defines its molecular combinations, the removal of flaws in its formation, and finally, gifting it the property to absorb mana, as it's called here, or qi as I call it, into the stone naturally.

Finishing the array, I cast it immediately. The sheer beauty of glowing runic scrips revolving and absorbing all the energy in sight. It is like watching the moment the universe was born. Breathtaking and heavy on the mind as history is born. An intangible weight of time and responsibility.

With my capstone formed, it's time I built all the city walls. I spend the next 10 hours slowly engraving each rune and every detail of the birth of the city. All the entrance locations. Wall composition, door composition and aesthetics, gargoyles, and sentry positions. My runic script on this massive stone is no thicker than a hair and only penetrates up to a fourth of an inch into the material. The script is both beautiful and appears less like runes and more like embossed designs of flowers and swords. It gives off a mural aesthetic while maintaining its true purpose as a capstone that will hold this place together for centuries.

The final touches to the main shielding and privacy array isolate each layer from the next without sufficient authority making this place the most well-defended on this wretched rock. I'm getting pretty defensive about children and family I don't even have, like some hen-pecking mother obsessed.

I pull out 500 magic crystals and pour them onto the array as they melt into liquid and are quickly absorbed by both the stone and runic script together. The ground begins to rumble and shift as material appears out of nowhere. The entire area now has walls separating each area. The defensive locations and gargoyles look splendid. I decided that each area coming closer to the middle would be raised by 5 stories each in the formation, and it brought me perfectly into the sky. I can feel dawn shall come before long.

It appears that my next step will be a control and logic core to control the place. Can't have people using fake identities to get through, and we will need a proper set of security measures. Also, I refuse to live in such a miserable climate, so it is going to take care of that and the aqueducts. Still so much to build, so many to recruit, and apparently a world to save. How do I even have time to build a harem. I am not going to just take every girl in the story of the world and taint them all with my greatness.

A fire lit within me that I didn't know could exist anymore. It brought a flash of my life long ago when I would work countless hours of overtime trying my best to save and buy a luxury item just to feel like I had not worked my whole life in vain. I just wanted to show that I could enjoy that horribly exhausting world. Looks like I'm about to build my first ai. I should make it have a sexy, sultry voice, oh and she should call me master, hehe.. hehe. The perversion I had done my best to hide suddenly reared its ugly head as I once more became a shut it to accomplish my goals. ahhhhhh a full 3 dimensional formation core is going to take at least two days. I hope I don't receive any company between now and then. That would make things really difficult for me.
