Chapter 62
" Ok Gasper you can do it " shouted issei as he threw a volleyball at Gasper the last bishop of Rias Gremory. The neet of Gremory and most importantly the trap.
Gasper tried to use his powers to stop the ball but his confidence broke once again when it hit him before he even realized it.
He started to cry like usual with his self esteem going further down.
Issei seeing this sighed but didn't rebuke Gasper. He knew this little trap has low self esteem but it seems it is getting even lower than it was before.
And he can't motivate him like usual since asia is with him today. Although asia might be very kind she is still a girl so she will definitely make him promise to give up his dream. And honestly if she really asked issei would begrudgingly accept it. He couldn't say no to her after all.
After ransacking for a solution Issei finally got one, and he did it immediately.
" Hey Gasper remember our dream. You promised me that you will improve so we can have it. Are you going back on it now." He asked with a serious face.
" sniff sniff but I'm too weak to do anything, I'm a failure at being a vampire and a devil " Gasper said still crying.
" hey Gasper I know you have low esteem but you should still have some confidence in yourself. And if that's too much to ask have some confidence in the dream we both share.
Think of the heavenly feeling of when we get to touch them to our hearts content. Do you really want to let go of that Gasper " Issei shouted with passion.
Gasper being a little motivated said,
" no you are right I will achieve our dream "
" That's the spirit now let try this again. Remember our dream Gasper. This is all for our noble cause " Issei said as he threw another ball at Gasper.
Gasper with his new motivation managed to stop it for a for about 3 seconds until his trauma resurfaced.
This is the real reason why Gasper has a low self confidence . When he was just a child his father afraid of his potential broke his confidence with many cruel ways. And Rias being Rias didn't bother investigate about this so Issei unfortunately doesn't know about it either.
So like the usual the ball hit him hard on the head again and due their not being anyone who has better perception his progress was never noticed.
Issei sighed as he saw Gasper crying again. He wished he could help this little. But whatever he does seems to be pointless.
' is my only option just to let him get used to his powers eventually ' he thought but quickly denied it.
No he has one more option. When it comes to giving people courage there is only one person he could think off. And since he is on his last straw he might just have to do it.
' I just hope this doesn't make her get into more trouble with supernatural world later on ' he thought as he took out his phone to make a call.

Issei , Gasper and Asia are now in front of the door of a mansion that is quite familiar for him now.
Not only him even Gasper has a little bit of knowledge of this place as this house belong to the person who is the founder of the virtual game ' Genesis ' that he used to make contracts. And on the front gate there is a logo saying, ' Morningstar Household '.
But even he didn't expect that his friend to Issei to know the legendary owner of Lux cooperation. His administration for Issei grew even more.
Issei not minding the gaze that of admiration from Gasper knocked on the door. Although Gasper is a trap it felt nice.
The door soon opened revealing a maid with white silvery hair and blue eyes. And as Issei who knew Roxanne knew who this maid is.
" hello miss Luciana is Roxanne at home " he respectively. This is a habit he had due to his interactions with Luciana in the past. And at that time her mindset was to become a perfect maid so she was very strict with others. And Iseei having a perverted mind didn't help them interact better either.
" Yes she is expecting you, please come and have a seat" Luciana said as she bowed and escorted them to the living room.
Gasper who for some reason went to hide behind Issei as soon as he saw Luciana. This puzzled Issei as Gasper now had his paper bag so he shouldn't be this afraid to meet strangers.
Luciana although saw this acted as she didn't she knew the Dampier has a lot of trauma due to his upbringing. As someone who is considered a true friend to her mistress, everyone Issei interacts has been thoroughly investigated as even in at a young age Issei had a knack for attracting unnecessary trouble.
And if neither Roxanne or Luciana dealt with them first Issei would have to live a life on a constant run for his life. Having a Longinus is that special after all. That's why Luciana for the lack of better term was very rude to Issei as she resents him for increasing her workload.
Soon they reached the living room. And took a seat on one of the many couches that lay there. Luciana bowed and went to the kitchen to bring some refreshments for them.
Seeing her leave Issei turned to Gasper who was still trying to hide behind him and said, " what's the matter Gasper why did you try to hide from Luciana. "
Gasper with a voice that is barely a whisper said in a scared tone , " she has this aura that is similar to Grayfia and she is too scary " he evened shivered.
Issei hearing this frowned, now that he thought about it they do have a some resemblance. And if he remembered correctly she didn't changed a little bit even after all these years. Which is quite natural for a supernatural but impossible for normal humans.
His train of thoughts was broken when the door opened revealing Roxanne who came in her casual clothes.
" hey Issei sorry to keep guys waiting I had some .. " her words stopped when she saw Gasper. Narrowing her eyes she looked at him for a moment before turning to Issei with a raised eyebrow.
" Wow Issei I didn't think you had it in you to go for a trap "
Issei almost fell down due to the absurdity of this claim. He shouted ,
" please Roxanne I am still straight "
" hahaha it's good that you are , or I would really worry about your future " Roxanne joked as she also took a seat.
" so why did you come Issei did you want to find a job or something " she asked. Truth be told she has no idea why Issei is bringing Gasper here. Because this is definitely not something that happened in Cannon.
Issei sighed at her antics but said seriously, " hey Roxanne do you remember when were kids you used to motivate people with your words "
This got Roxanne thinking, while she was hanging out with Issei and Irina they did mostly do was run around town. And sometimes they would find some people who were full of negative emotions.
As Roxanne was still new to this world she thought of utilizing this negative energy so she would most of times would go to console or motivate these people. And while doing so she would try out numerous tests and gather very good research data. But as a after effect of these experiments the people began to move forward from their situations.
And after a few years she managed to control this energy and she mainly uses it highlight her presence and break the fighting spirit of her opponents.
Coming back from her thoughts she replied, " Yeah I did remember doing something like that when we were little " .
" so umm can please help Gasper here . He is our new club member and he has zero self confidence , please help him " as he said this Issei bowed.
Asia who was silent all this time also bowed while saying, " please help him "
Seeing his friends bowing for his sake Gasper got emotional. Although he was still a bit afraid he hesitantly took a few steps forward and bowed with them.
" please help me , I want to be of used to my friends so please help me "
Seeing this scene Roxanne who everyone was bowing to stood up,
" alright guys get up you don't need to beg me to this you know. And aren't I your friend too have some faith in me will ya " she said as she smiled at their sincerity.
