Chapter 73

With that declaration the now humanoid monster unleashed a barrage of attacks with his claws at Roxanne as soon as he got near her. Although Roxanne managed to dodge his attacks but unlike last where she was unharmed this time she was not that lucky. Although she didn't get any serious injuries her clothes were torn and some cut slashes appeared in her body. 

This proved how much of a difference the monster had before his awakening. And the faces of everyone couldn't have help but turn grim. This made them realise that this foe is a serious threat to them. 

The shadow garden girls wasted no time and went to help Roxanne. Azazel also joined them. They needed to keep him busy until Sirzechs and the rest got enough energy to join the battle. 

Morgana and Merlin both started to cast some binding spells to hold that monster down. While they did that Artoria and her squad engaged in battle with him. Due to their excellent team work they all managed to hold him in one place. 

Azazel, who was flying in the air, also assists all of them in offence and defence. When someone was about to get hit from a monster claw he would conjure a light shield to protect them. And he saw an opening, he would attack the monster with a light spear. 

Roxane finally got some space to catch her breath so first decided to check her condition. The injuries she received were already healed. She wasn't poisoned as Ciel would immediately nullify any lethal substances that enter her body. 

After finding nothing wrong in her body she turned her attention back to fight. Honestly she is quite surprised about how the situation turned out to be. She didn't expect that their forces would be thinned like this. She should first solve the most crucial problem for now. 

' Ciel dispel this space lock and replace it with one of ours so that Grafia and the others could teleport the two heiresses. '

And in a flash the barrier that was locking them in this space was replaced. Grafia and the others immediately noticed the change. So they without any hesitation teleported the kids away from here. Although the kids were reluctant they had to obey . Even Vali was forced to retreat after seeing the glare Azrael was giving him. 

After they all had teleported away the girls rushed to the battlefield to help the others. Arriving at the battlefield they were a bit surprised to see the monster half chained by some magical chains and was thrashing around while being bombarded by the other shadow garden girls. Oh Azazel was also helping them. 

" Oh you guys are just in time "Roxanne said as she eyed the girls. 

" Why are you on the defensive, that guy is too dangerous for you all to be playing around like this. " Azrael said as she gave her daughter a look. If she didn't give her a reasonable explanation there would be consequences. 

" eehh well you see that guy is too resilient to our attacks so we are waiting for more heavy hitters to arrive. If we can't finish him in one move I doubt we would be able to defeat him ever again , after all this guy is too good at running away. " Roxannae hurriedly explained. 

"I see so what is your plan " Azrael said after finding no falsehood in her daughter's statement. 

" Well I want you, Grafia and Serafall to stop him from running away from this place. Also if you can please make sure the land is protected from his poison. We don't need to have an incident like what happened in the underworld repeat again. 

Gabriel I want you to help Michael and Sirzechs in dealing the damage to that guy. While you guys do that Me and my team will help you guys as tanks. We will also try to help you. 

Now does anyone have any questions ? " Roxanne asked as she looked at everyone. She made sure their conversation is only heard to their allies and not the monster. 

No one said anything as they agreed with the plan. It is efficient and fool proof at first glance. And with Roxanne's signal they all sprang into action. 

Roxanne conjured some twin swords made from death energy and joined in the fray to engage in combat with the demon. And true to her guess as soon as the guy so Roxanne it stopped holding back. The restraints were broken with ease as it attacked Roxanne with a hint of madness in its eye. 

Roxanne didn't falter at the enemy's sudden jump in strength as she expected such an outcome. For the whole the monster was keeping his power level to an Ultimate class when it clearly is a Satan class being. 

Artoria and her team members retreated back to the rear to take some rest. While they were at it they got their weapons blessed with Holy magic by Gabriel. It will make their more effective against the monster after all. 

Azrael , Serafall and Grafia went to work as they destroyed every puddle of poison they could find in the ground. While one may argue that this isn't something that important it actually is. The monster in the Civil War had the ability to teleport itself into any puddles of poison it left. This is also why Grafia's father died at its hand. 

While they were at the end of the fight the monster teleported itself into a puddle of poison near Grafia. The monster at that time wanted to absorb Grafia to increase its fighting ability. Grafia's father was heavily injured after he tried to protect his daughter 

With anger in her eyes Grafia did her job very seriously.She didn't leave any puddles that caught her eyes. 

Sirzechs and Michael, who rested enough, joined the fight. They were going to finish this once and for all. With their intervention the monster was cornered. 

Its regeneration ability was sealed because of Michael and Gabriel's holy magic. It continued to gain more injuries due to Sirzechs and Roxanne. Even its escape methods were being destroyed by others. 

Facing such harassment the monster finally snapped.
