The party

It was around 7pm, looking at the market Aria could tell that there are so many people at the party with beautiful dresses and there she was wearing her old Christmas dress from last year, yea! It's so outdated but that was all she had but then her hair kept her confident because Elena said it was made for princess.

"Aria have you seen john anywhere?" Elena asked trying to spot john "there he is" she said smiling at him but the look he gave to her was a friendly one

"I will be right back Aria" Elena said as she stormed off

Aria was all by herself trying to look for something doing but all she would do was walk from a selling counter to another

"Hey… careful" Aria said looking up to the guy who bumped into her who didn't even say a word, she doesn't even know who he is or where he might come from, this city isn't a very big one so why does he look so unfamiliar she thought.

"Excuse me Mister" she said trying to get his attention but it looked like he was in an hurry to leave the party

"He couldn't even say sorry"she said to her self trying to dry up the juice he spilled over her dress

"Who was that?" A voice that came from behind, Aria looked behind her to see who that was

"Jake!" She said as she wrapped her arms round his neck

"Where the hell have you been?"

"Aria" he called her name like a passionate lover

"I've missed you so much" Aria said as she freed her arms and looked right into his eyes

"I've missed you too Aria"

"I never thought I would be seeing you here"

"I couldn't miss the city market party you know that too well" he said as he smiled brightly at her and touched her cheeks

"How have my lovely princess been doing?"

"Well your lovely princess isn't doing great" she said looking like she was about to cry "I haven't been having my best time here since Elena stormed off to see john" she laughed

"You know how Elena is, she gets overwhelmed at the sight of john" Jake said holding Aria's hand as if he wants them to take a walk

"You didn't come along with Mona?"

"We broke up"

"Oh I'm sorry… I didn't know, I shouldn't have asked

"It's fine Aria"

"But you don't look like Jake" Aria said following his lead

They ended up at the dead end of the market

"This place is more private" Jake said as he chuckled

"I guess so"

They say very close to each other like couples who haven't been together for years

"How's your father and Maria" Jake asked looking downward trying to avoid eye contact with Aria

"Papa has always been the same and mama….oh shit!" Aria said as she jumped up like she just saw a ghost "Jake I've got to go now,I need to be home before papa gets back from work" she added

"Chill Aria, your father wouldn't get upset if he finds out you're with me"

"I know but I need to find Elena and head home now"

"Okay Aria, I will find you tomorrow then" he said landing her a kiss on her forehead

Aria soon found Elena and they both headed home

"See you tomorrow princess Aria" Elena said as she waved good bye to Aria

"Okay, can you just go home quietly now Elena" Aria whispered

Aria soon entered the house not wanting to make a sound knowing well that her parents are fast asleep

"And why are you just coming in?" Papa asked

Aria was shocked and paused for a while

"I… I was .. hmm" she muttered

"I know you have a very loud tone Aria"

"Papa I'm sorry, I was on my way back home when I cross path with Jake"

"Aria my dear, I'm not saying you can't go out but you have to respect your mother,she told me that your promise to be back before dawn"

"Yes papa"

"This shouldn't happen again Princess"

"Alright Papa"

"Go to bed now, you must be tired" papa said as he blew off the candles

"Love you much papa" Aria said as she walked towards him to give him a good night hug

"Love you much my Princess"

Aria walked up to her room and fell flat on her bed, she was about to have a good night rest when she suddenly remembered the stranger who bumped into her at the party

"He was strange" she muttered to herself "he could have said sorry"

She kept thinking why she hasn't seen him anywhere in the city "is he new here?" She asked herself placing her right hand on her chin "or maybe it was too dark, he probably might be one of those guys who seek trouble" she spoke to herself as she fell asleep
