Gatekeeper of existence

Your mind is foggy weren't you just sitting in your bed, maybe sitting in a chair on your phone? where is this all the world why were you chosen? what is that thing!

(this will be my first attempt at a novel I've had this idea in my mind for a while I'll leave you guys with these first two more short burst of what my idea is want to see if people like it before I continue on with it it's not much but it's a simple answer what would come action will happen of course it won't all be dialogue I promise but I'm not very confident in my own work and would rather see results before I put more of my time into something like a novel)
