#Chapter26 TRUTH
/"Hello,/" I said later that day when I got home, my parents were in the kitchen with a cup of tea each, they both fell silent when they saw me, I think I interrupted their conversation but instead of apologizing I went for a pack of biscuits and sat between them /"What's up?/"
/"Well, your brother won't have a trial like the father of the spoiled child wanted,/" my father said with disdain, /"but he will have a hearing and will be fined in addition to being forced to attend a psychologist regularly./"
/"Wow,/" I mumbled somewhat confused, I looked at my mother who was quieter than usual and thought of saying something to cheer them up a bit /"Hey?/" Guess what I got this morning.
/"What, dear?/" my mother said softly as she picked up a cookie and started nibbling on it like a mouse.
