#Chapter35 PANIC
I had never been a religious person. My parents didn't really bother to teach me other than that God exists and watches over us from heaven, they weren't the type to go to church every Sunday either so I just went to the annual Christmas mass and normally I didn't pay much attention because I kept playing secret cards with Bennett.
At this point in my life, I thought that God was punishing me for playing cards in church instead of listening to the pastor's sermon.
I looked at the back of the seat in front of me, occasionally my kidnapper moved the gear lever but was totally silent. So I closed my eyes for a few seconds and said a silent prayer. I prayed because I was afraid, I prayed because I wanted to be forgiven, I prayed because I wanted to see my parents one last time, I prayed because I wanted to hear Christian's voice one more time but most of all I prayed because I didn't want to die.
