Chapter 14: The Lonely Hunt

Months have passed since Hiroshi took it upon himself to look after Nezuko and his wives, but a new threat has begun to manifest itself. The oni became more active and their influence loomed over the cities, instilling fear and terror in the hearts of the people.

Determined to meet this threat head-on, Hiroshi set out alone on a relentless hunt. Their wives stayed behind, aware that by covering a larger area they could help demobilize the oni and protect their community.

Although the journey was dangerous, Hiroshi saw in this opportunity a unique chance to master the invisible mode and improve his Breathing techniques. He knew the battle was more than just killing oni, it was an opportunity to grow stronger, both to protect those he loved and to eradicate the evil that plagued humanity.

With his katana in hand and his instincts sharpened, Hiroshi became an expert hunter of oni. It tracked every movement, every hint of demonic presence, and eliminated its prey with ruthless precision. His rigorous training in Breathing techniques allowed him to masterfully control his vital energy, finding the perfect balance between strength and agility.

Traveling through cities ravaged by the oni's evil influence, Hiroshi became a figure of hope for the inhabitants. He used his abilities to purify the darkness, bringing back lost peace and normalcy. Each fight was a challenge, but motivated by a desire to protect those he loved, Hiroshi never faltered.

As Hiroshi advanced on his solitary journey, Ubuyashiki, wise and insightful leader, realized that the leader of the oni, Muzan, was planning an attack on the headquarters of the demon hunters. With this dire threat in mind, Ubuyashiki summoned the Hashiras, the strongest pillars among the hunters, to train and prepare the less experienced warriors for the imminent combat.

This strategic meeting was due to Ubuyashiki's understanding that, together, they could face and overcome any challenge. The Hashiras, respecting their authority and determined to protect their fellows, promptly answered the call and began intense and rigorous training with the weaker hunters.
