I'm given a named one that now not, only do I get stronger from killing, but eating my prey as well. I don't know why, but I yearn to kill and eat all to get stronger.

 Maybe it's the dreams I've been having since I was bestowed with this system, or maybe...something more?.... Can I live up to my dreams and what's been given to me?

[Blaze's POV, location Oceania]

[1 year, 1 month, 0 days before tournament]

"I will always heed the call of my owner, father, and summoner. I Glaze will be your strength!" Glaze yelled out, her rose blooming from my hand, her body materializing. She held onto my arm to keep it steady before becoming one with the blade as snowy petals flowed off it.

She felt different. She was weaker, yes, but felt stronger as well. It was more like her very spirit evolved in a way, becoming something different. She was more vulnerable in a way, but her overall being was much more refined. I couldn't think about it too much as the second summons came through with a burst of powerful flames and thick mana radiating off the figure, snapping me back to the event happening before me.
