Quenching His Unquenchable Thirst

Cassian was very much aware of his actions and how it baffled the woman, but he didn't stop because he knew deep down that she wanted the same thing from him. He spent hours trying to help Oliver study, so much so that he could no longer keep up with the burning sensation that tugged at his chest and ignited his system.

He felt hot all over and had to excuse himself to cool his body for a minute in the tub and then return, but like a fire that found more content to feed on, he ended up spotting Madeline staring out the bathroom window and looking through the louvers glass, the twilight sun casting a golden shadow over her beautiful young face.

His first intention was to quietly leave before she senses his presence in the bathroom, but his feet were clearly against that decision as his dark eyes fixed themselves upon her back, his gaze unrelenting as he drank in every curve of her silken skin.
