My Ideal Vengeance

"Uhhhhhh, why is he taking so long. He promised to visit me today but visiting hours have almost ended. I have been in this hospital for two months and he hasn't visited me because he says he is busy", I groaned.

Well you might be wondering what this is all about. Well, let me give you a brief introduction. My name is Amanda Han, but I go by the name Scarlet for personal reasons. I lived with my biological parents, till my mom died when I was five. My dad decided to marry again. ( well, I really regretted that). He got married to a two- faced repulsive witch( well, I thought that). She was always mean to me when my dad went out on business trips, and behave all jolly and bubbly to me when he was back. She wasn't the only one who was repulsive, she had a daughter Tiana. Tiana was always mean to me and she blamed me for everything. Weirdly, she even blamed me for her messy room sometimes and her mom will give in without even thinking. I was made to do all the housework even when I was sick from a very young age. We were both homeschooled but my parents put all their attention on Tiana. Finally when I turned 31, I got married to a handsome man named James. He wasn't from a rich family but I loved him anyways. Soon afterwards the wedding, I was diagnosed with lung cancer and was later admitted to the hospital months later. When I was admitted I never saw James again. It was like he had forgotten about me and that made me feel devastated and that's not al, he was supposed to pay my hospital bill, but for the past month, I have been in debt with the hospital. Well back to the story.

The next morning, I decided to sneak out of the hospital and go and see James. I made my way out of the hospital, seeing daylight for the first time in months, and picked a cab and went to my apartment. When got to my apartment, I saw the door slightly open and I heard voices. Naturally I thought James was having an online meeting, so I slowly walked in so that I won't disturb him. To my horror I saw Tiana lying in our bed and they were lovingly exchanging enchantments with each other. They saw me and tried to hide but it was too late." S-S-Scarlet, I can explain, It's not what you think...…", stuttered James. " SHUT UP", I yelled at him with all my life force. Then Tiana stepped in," I just came to give James food since you were in the hospital, its not be deal sicko", she said. My blood boiled as she said these words. I stepped forward and threw a slap across her face. I pounced on her and pulled her her so hard. To my surprise she called out for James and James literally slapped me. He took Tiana's stiletto heel and used it to hit me. I fell to the ground with my head bleeding intensely my head bleeding intensely." Was this my fate?, Is this supposed be my death, painful, worrying and worst of all, at the hands of my husband?" I thought. I closed my eyes and all I saw was black.

I woke up in my bed, sweating like a flowing river. I look around confused. My phone beside me started buzzing intensely. I took my phone to see what the racket was about. I look and i see that my step sister is telling me she is on her way to my house so that we can go together and select a wedding dress for my wedding next month. I was completely confused. I checked the date on my phone which showed it was Thursday, 1st July, 2021. I was gobsmacked. The last memory I had was me going to my house and seeing my step sister and my husband together. It was such an exciting but outraging moment for me. I needed my revenge. I need to show them who is who and make sure they never mess with me in their whole entire miserable lives.
