3rd Person

After their intense session the night before, Dixie slept like a baby, whereas Noah spent the rest of the flight angry and worried. Bryce brought back memories from Noah's past that he wished he could forget, but the past is unavoidable and without thinking, he willing walked right back into it. Noah was living proof that the best things in life usually come from such adversity.

He knew Alissa would be in this city, but all he could think about while planning this trip was Dixie and making her happy, and he wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in the way of that. It's odd to imagine that one woman can change your outlook on life while the other can freeze your heart— falling in love never seems to be an option.

When the plane landed, Dixie awoke. She looked to be well rested and, of course, flawless. Noah adored the look of her hair all messed up and in her face. It's truly a sight to behold.

"What are you staring at?" Dixie let out a yawn and spoke in a drowsy tone. His heart was melted by her voice.

"Good morning, Ms. D'Amelio; we'll have to work on your manners, love." Her tummy flutters and her vaginal waterworks were set off by his words. There it was again, the four-letter word that made her heart skip a beat.

They both smiled and exchanged glances as she said good morning. They both hoped for the best as a brave new adventure began in this country.

Everyone got off the plane except Dixie and Noah, who stayed together at the airport. Dixie was hypnotized, and it was a pleasant hypnosis. With a breath of fresh air, she took in the scene. She loved how fresh the air smelt and how classic and vintage the surroundings were . This was going to be the nicest trip she'd ever taken, and it hadn't even begun yet.

Noah, on the other hand, has traveled around the globe numerous times. For him, this wasn't a new experience, but for her, it was a completely new world. The only problem was that she didn't know how to tell anyone about her midterm trip.....another season's mystery, she thought.

They were picked up from the airport by a private car and driven straight to the beach house. She loved how clean the roads were, and at each turn, she noticed a new landmark or new scenery. Italy was undoubtedly one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in the world, and she counted herself fortunate to have visited it. Not just by herself, but also in the presence of her professor.

"Where are we going, sir?"

"As for where we're headed... hmm somewhere magical."

She didn't need any further information. She had complete faith in him to look after her and make her happy. The car ride was quiet and serene. They sat in the back, her head resting on his shoulder and his arms encircling her. Some would call it love, while others would term it something else entirely, but they simply wanted to go with the flow.

How much longer could they ignore the unmistakable truth?

When the car arrived at the beach house, the joy and adoration didn't stop there. It was a large, gorgeous house with white paint and glass doors and windows. Her eyes couldn't believe what they were seeing. She dashed out of the car and went to the front door, which was, to her surprise, already open. Noah banging her against these glass panes even crossed her mind, and thankfully for her, he had the same thoughts.

Was there already someone here? She sincerely hoped not.

"It's already-"

"Yeah I know it's already opened, people were cleaning and setting up for us to come."

Yet another reason for her to be intimidated by him.

When they arrived at the beachhouse, it was almost dark, and they were both hungry. She was also thrown off by the time zone difference. They flew out of California at night and arrived in Italy at night. The major distinction is that she was hungry for food, whereas Noah was hungry for her. This was all about Dixie, therefore his appetite would have to wait till another time.

"Please don't be late; I'll take your things upstairs, get dressed for dinner, and meet me down here in 10 minutes."

She smiled and nodded before getting dressed. Her lips fell as she walked into the room. The room was just right. The bed was a King, with fluffy white sheets and a grey comforter. Dixie had never seen a more beautiful bed spread. If she didn't have somewhere to be, she'd feel compelled to take a lengthy nap on the pillows, which were as fluffy as clouds.

Dixie noticed a clothing on the bed and a letter that said, "You'll look wonderful, don't doubt it."

She cracked a wry grin and rolled her eyes at his bravado. It was a lovely gesture. She began to suspect that he was softening, but she couldn't be too sure with him. Despite the fact that she only had 10 minutes, she couldn't help but pause for a moment to consider this. Everything seemed to be moving at the same time. She didn't have time to address or even acknowledge her emotions and feelings, which were all over the place.

It was a chilly night in Italy, so she had a long hot shower, entirely forgetting about the 10-minute time limit. She cleansed her body and rinsed her hair. She felt as if she had been cleansed and reborn. It could have been something in the Italian water.

Dixie went out of the bathroom with her towel wrapped around her body and her hair thoroughly damp after that lovely and invigorating shower. She was naked, unclothed, and completely herself in this way. There was no make-up or plastic covering anything...it was just her...Dixie.

She took up the large shopping bag labeled "Tearose Boutique Milan" as she walked over to where the note was. She reasoned that a) it had to be costly, and b) it was the name of the clothes brand.

The outfit looked stunning, despite its simplicity. A silver body-con dress with an open back that is knee-length. She also saw a pair of heels, some jewelry, and a scarf in case she became cold. She got ready after drying and bunning her hair and applying her lipgloss. Her admiration for herself had begun. She thought she was more gorgeous, the more time she spent with him. She quickly snapped a photo to give to her family and dashed down the stairs.

What happened to the 10 minutes? She took about an hour.

Noah was irritated by her disobedience as he heard her coming down the stairs. The ten minutes meant ten minutes, but beauty takes time, something he can't deny.

"What was it that took you so long-"

He was stopped short, but not because of anything she said, but because of how lovely she looked. She was beautiful and stunning in every way. For a full 30 seconds, he was captivated in her eyes, unable to believe her beauty was anything less than divine. Everything fit her perfectly, leaving no room for mistakes. To him, she was ideal.

"Nevermind, let's go."

A gracious woman can do that to a man. She felt relieved that she didn't have to sleep with him in order to keep him silent. He admired her in every way, and it was a new emotion for her, something she had never felt before. She was about to ask where they were heading, but she couldn't especially because she hadn't followed the 10-minute timer.

Noah took them to the beach house's back side. The gazebo was lovely, with warm yellowish-white lighting and a feast. With the appropriate utensils, plates, and glasses, the table was properly set. She fell in love with everything all over again. He took her hand in his and lead her to the seat, which he then pushed out for her, which she thanked him for.

"You're beautiful," he complimented, "but don't think I forgot about the ten minutes."

"Thank you for ruining the moment." She rolled her eyes. "And you look fine as well."

"Don't tempt me love, I'll take you right here."

And then there was nothing but silence and the aroma of delicious meals in the air.

"For tonight, I'll be your chef. Dr. Beck has provided me with a detailed meal plan for the evening."

Chef Antonio Carluccio made the announcement. Dixie remembered him from the countless cookery shows that her parents used to watch while she was growing up. She couldn't believe this man was her servant. Another reason why Italy was such a lovely place.

They engaged in some light chat while waiting to be served.

"You want to work in business and economics, but you're majoring in psychology, English literature, and history. That is incomprehensible, Ms. D'Amelio. "

He wasn't lying. Her heart wasn't in the economic world; it belonged to music, the arts, and history. She was enthusiastic about new experiences and fresh starts, but she was always told that "business was the way to go."

"Sir, there isn't much to say. I'd always been told that business was the way to go, so I changed my major."

This made him unsettled.

"I'm not going to push it because it appears to be a hard limit, but I will say this. It's your life and your future that's at stake. It makes no sense to stay unhappy for the rest of your life doing something you don't enjoy, and I personally would never want to -"

The chef delivering the meal cut him off. They always seem to get cut off in the middle of critical sentences.

She desperately wanted him to complete his statement, but she hesitated to ask him to. The rest of statement, is one of the worlds many mysteries.

Dixie went on to enjoy the meal, ignoring her thoughts and questions. Rigatoni alla Carbonara was served with Brodetta soup and crispy bread. She only prayed it tasted as amazing as it sounded, and she wasn't let down. It was as if she were dining in heaven. The dish was prepared flawlessly. A 10/10 meal, for a 10/10 country.

This was the nicest dinner she'd ever had, with the person who would soon become her favorite. They had finished their meal and the table had been cleared.

"Let's go for a beach walk," Noah suggested while getting up from his chair.

She agreed with a nod, and they continued on their way. It was quiet and serene. They relished the opportunity to be in one another's company.

He giggled at how much of a kid she was while holding her heels in his palm. She sprinted through the sand and splashed in the sea without getting her dress wet. He noticed the lovely smile with which he had fallen in love with. She was enjoying the time of her life at the beach late at night.

Noah didn't bother her; instead, he just enjoyed watching her until she said she was ready. She hopped on his back and fell asleep with her head on his shoulder. This was the only time he could hear himself think. She was content, at ease, and getting the rest she deserved.

They returned home and he escorted her to her room. He changed her into one of his sweat suits after cleaning the sand off her feet with warm towels. She sunk into the bed, cuddling the blankets and pillow, and dozed off. Noah stood at the door's corner for a few moments, watching her before heading to his home office to get some work done.

Work, it's always work.

Some could argue that there is no such thing as a person who enjoys working, but if you met Noah, you'd know they were wrong. He was always working, no matter what time of day it was or what occasion it was. He'd finished grading his school assignments, but he needed to prepare critical speeches for the donor event, and Dixie was his plus one. She simply didn't realize it at the time.

He sat there, composing a speech for a benefactor for the donor's event. The Italian counterpart of the Met Gala was the donor's event. Celebrities, doctors, academics, and business leaders were all invited, along with a plus one if they so desired. It was the century's most formal event, held every year in Europe. Everyone was always dressed to the nines, capturing the media's attention and breath. Due to the privacy breaches that occurred last year, this year's event was more private.

The time flew by, and he fell asleep while composing the speech. Noah awoke around 8 a.m. and went into the bedroom, where he found Dixie peacefully sleeping. He walked over to her side and gave her a gently sweet kiss on the lips. He dropped another bag on top of it with a message in the hopes that she would see it. He got out of bed and went to his early morning workout.

Dixie felt as if she were floating on a cloud, falling into the soft bed sheets and wishing she could sleep indefinitely. She was disappointed that Noah wasn't in bed, but she reminded herself that she wasn't here for romance or roses. That wasn't it; in fact, she had no idea what it was.

Dixie tossed and turned in bed, trying unsuccessfully to get back asleep. She checked the clock on her phone, which read "9:09 a.m."

The idea of calling her mother occurred to her, but due to timezone differences, she would most likely be late. She made the choice to get out of bed. Dixie took a walk around the relatively larger bedroom because she had never had the time to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings around her, having arrived after dark and gone straight to dinner. She did, however, like the vista. The accommodation has access to a balcony with a breathtaking view. She stood there for a few moments, simply breathing in the fresh air, until her phone rang.

Glancing at her phone, she saw Kate FaceTiming her. Dixie hesitated to answer because she knew Kate could either ask something dumb or be too nosy.

"Hey Dixie, woah it's day time for you," she said in shock, "Where are you?"

"Hey Kate, I'm in Italy for the midterm, what's up?"

"Oh shit, I forgot you said you were going on a midterm trip, so how's it going and who's the lucky guy?" "You certainly aren't there by yourself," she said, her voice strange. As if she knew what she was talking about.

"Nice try, Kate," Dixie said with a giggle, "and Italy is ideal. Bye now, I'm going to get ready for the day."

It was nice to catch up with a friend, but Dixie disliked being questioned, so she hung up and went to start her day.

Returning from the balcony. She came across a bag and another message. Her heart skipped a beat, yet she was annoyed that he was wasting money on her.

If you're reading this, Ms. D'Amelio, you've found the note. We're going shopping today, so get ready. I hope you got a good night's sleep since you have a big day ahead of you, love.

This touched her heart since he was thoughtful. She knew she'd have to acknowledge her feelings for him at some time, but she wasn't ready for it yet. She desired no labels, both of them did, yet that didn't satisfy their soul.

Dixie showered and dressed as usual in the morning. She donned a white crop top with yellow palazzo pants and flats because it was a particularly pleasant morning. Either Noah had excellent judgment in women's clothing or he had a youthful stylist working for him. She adored everything he chose for her. She noticed something odd about the underwear, but she didn't question it because she was used to it.

Rookie move dix

When Noah returned after his run, he sprinted straight up the stairwell. He looked at her as if she were the only girl on the planet. He adored his student and couldn't believe that one night had lead to such a wonderful adventure.

He gushed, "You look fantastic."

"Thank you, sir; aren't you getting ready as well?"

He grinned, "Just give me a few to shower."

Noah halted Dixie as she walked out of the room. His quick moves shocked her.

"Where are you going?," he asked in a tone of confusion.

"I was going to give you some privacy downstairs."

"After everything we've done, you think privacy is necessary?," he chuckled and walked into the bathroom.

Dixie laughed nervously and stepped out onto the balcony to get some fresh air. She set up her phone to shoot some nice photos, which she planned to share on Instagram and other social media platforms, as well as send to friends and relatives. The sun shone brightly from every angle she was photographed from, and she was dressed in yellow, so everything blended together.

Walking back inside, the sights in-front of her made her body freeze. If she was asthmatic, she would've died in spot.

He was just gorgeous. The water was dripping down his body, and his damp brown hair was dripping as well. She had never been a fan of him while he was shirtless, but she appreciated this view. The length of time she spent staring at him could pierce a hole in his body. She wasn't supposed to be horny this early in the morning, but that didn't stop her. She jumped when Noah turned around. He was well aware that she was 'checking him out,' but he seemed unconcerned. He reveled in the praise he received as a result. She didn't think it could get any hotter, but Noah was unpredictable. He threw away the towel and stood naked in front of her. She was able to see everything, and she wanted it all. She stood there in utter adoring shock as he dried his body and put on his clothing.

"Dix, are you ready to go?"

"Um, y-yeah yeah let's go," she stuttered.

He hit her out of that trance. Noah took that win knowing the effect he had on her.

"First we'll go have brunch at the pier and then we'll go shopping and sight seeing. The car is waiting for us, let's go."

All of this sounded lovely, but she couldn't do much more than nod because she was still thinking about the things she'd seen earlier. She was completely unaware that they had arrived at the automobile. Noah laughed as he pushed open the door. She began whimpering as she became more comfortable in her seat. Noah was well aware of what was going on, especially since he was the source of it.

"Are you okay,Ms. D'Amelio?"

"Y-yes," she stuttered, "I'm f-fine."

Noah was cruel. He put his poor student through this, imagine the humilation that would happen in public. He was now Noah Beck, the cruel sadist.

"Those panties you have on are simulation panties and I control them. The speed can go as low as what it is now or as high as this."

The louder he made it, the more she whimpered and eventually let out a great moan. He was well aware that this would cause her to become too excited, but he didn't seem to mind. It would brighten his day if he could bring her to that point and then deny her an orgasm. Her slowed the car down, and Dixie sat nervously in the passenger seat. She enjoyed being pushed, especially in new situations, but a heads up would've been nice, she thought.

They arrived to the dock after a few minutes of driving. It was lavishly embellished with flowers and fruit baskets. There was no chef there, but the two servers who were present set the entire menu. She was really shocked and mesmerized.

They got out of the car and walked over to their table, greeting the servers. Dixie was hungry, so she began eating right away, while Noah sat, carefully watching her. Her breakfast consisted of pancakes, bacon, and eggs, as well as a tropical fruit salad. Noah had a simple meal of bread, Italian sausage, and a cup of strong black coffee. Both in terms of rank and lifestyle, these were two quite different people.

"Thank you for breakfast, I enjoyed it a-lot," she said, happiness strong in her voice.

Noah didn't say anything; all he did was take out the remote and turn it on. There was nothing that made him happier than seeing the humiliation on her face. He savored this moment. When he switched it off, her eyes were on the edge of rolling over.

Her safe word was always an option if he was going too far, and she hadn't said it, so he knew she was good.
