Rose's pov-

"Argggg my back is hurting," I said jumping on the couch at Mike's apartment.

"Yeah, these classes are always boring and tiering," Bella said hopping next to me and opening her phone.

"Hmmm" I hummed in response and leaned back on the couch closing my eyes. Today is Monday I didn't want to get up in the morning but life doesn't work the way we want it to. After attending all the classes we decided to meet at Mike's apartment for some assignment work.

"Guyssss anybody wants snacks" Jason shouted running into Mike's kitchen as he owns it. I laughed a bit he is just crazy.

"Dude doesn't forget you are at my place," Mike said coming back from his room.

"Hmm hmm," Jason said his face in the cabinet trying to find something and waving his hand to Mike in shoo motion, I chuckled and Mike scoffed at him rolling his eyes.

"Ohhh you guys want some chips? " he asked looking at the three of us.

"Yupp," I said followed by the other two. After some moments Jason, came back with some chips packets and 4 mountain dues in his hands, putting them on the table he opened one packet and started munching on them.

I took one packet and started eating, I looked around and they both were on their phones. I rolled my eyes, don't know what is on their phones and they never get bored.

After some eating and chit-chat, we decided to do some work. We were sitting on the couch and floor with our laptops in our hands but suddenly Jason switched on the Tv.

We looked over at him" what?? Don't you wanna be updated about the matter which is going on in the city??" He said with a shrug

"What??" I asked with a frown." what matters?"

"Come on rose you don't know," he asked in disbelief.

"I don't, that's why I asked duh??" I said squinting my eyes" is that so serious that I need to know "I asked getting up and walking towards the kitchen to throw the trash into the dustbin.

"Of course babe, it's like a live movie going on," he said with his arms in the air for dramatic effect for which he got a hit from mike.

'Hmmm, what do you mean?" I asked with a frown walking back to the couch and picking up my laptop and putting it back on my lap.

"Actually what he means is that one of the Ferrari brothers is missing for 1 year" Bella explained showing me an article on her phone.

"yeah and the whole police department is going through depression and anxiety attacks," Mike said with a scoff while wildly typing on his laptop. I stared at them with wide eyes like they have grown a second head.

Jason laughed at my reaction and shook his head while stuffing some chips in his mouth.

Ohhhh like really ???

"wait wait wait!" I exclaimed jumping off the sofa, they all looked at me like I got crazy"wait so what you are saying is that the brother of Andrea Ferrari is missing for the whole year, like the brother of the rated CEO with a top-rated enterprise is missing moreover, a guy who has this whole city under his feet haven't been able to find his brother Dammm!' I said with a shocked voice putting my hands on my hips.

Jason laughed and muttered "yup"

"Additionally, he is dangerous af, didn't you hear the rumors about him," Mike said looking down at his laptop again.

"hmmm?' I asked in confusion with a frown while sitting beside him.

Mike looked at me from the corner of his eye and again shifted them back on his work" is that he is in~" he was about to say something but our attention got driven by TV,

"its been a whole year and the middle brother of the Ferrari empire is still missing, Mr. Andrea Ferrari, currently, the head of the family is asking the police for their work, he is questioning their investigation but still he is ready to compromise and just want some information about his brother, the next voice you will hear is of Andrea Ferrari from his conference"

Questioning and compromise aa those two words doesn't fit together?? I thought to myself.

I listened to a reporter for some time,

hmm, interesting...in actuality, I don't know much about them but because I am a business student I searched about their enterprise a little bit and I was impressed, furthermore, my dad was a business partner with their company when I was high school but they split up. Dad never told me the reason but said he wanted to work by himself. hmmm...and about the Ferrari brothers I never saw them but heard that they are pretty attractive which is why practically every woman in the city drools over them but I never knew much about their family and stuff except, the rumors about the murder of their dad and older brother for which they accused Andrea.

But why an individual will kill his father and brother, there was no reason. He already had everything a person could ever want or need;-power, goodwill, and money. Almost everything and thinking about this news, he is so worried about his brother and how he could do such a thing which he was being accused for.

I was lost in my thoughts when I suddenly got interrupted by the sounds of the reporters asking different kinds of questions from somebody, I looked up at the TV screen only to find myself utterly surprised at the person who was standing in front of the media. My jaw dropped and my eyes widened.

What is he doing there????. My brain stopped functioning for some time. Why he is there?

I gulped down the lump which was forming in the back of my throat,

No..no no he isn't him right??? He can't be!

I was questioning everything but couldn't find the answer but finally, all the questions got answered, Bella.

"dammm..no doubt that every girl drools over him dude," Bella said putting her elbows on her knees and resting her face on her hands, and gawking at him.

My head snapped in the direction of Jason this time." Is..is he Andrea Ferrari???"

Please no no no...

"yeah, the real fucking competition" Jason said getting up and walking towards the bathroom. Mike laughed at his comment but kept on typing on his laptop.

"Is this him?" I asked looking at both of them in shock. Bella laughed hard "yes missy this is Mr. Andrea the Greek god," she said dramatically.

My whole body became ice for some seconds it was hard to wrap my mind around this sudden information, with all the shock I looked back at the TV.

"Hello everyone, firstly, I want you all to have a seat so I can start speaking a plus, I don't want anyone to interrupt me while I speak," he said with his thick Italian accent. Every person in the hall nodded and complied. He slowly nodded at them before looking straight into the camera.

"he is authoritative," I said under my breath my eyes still on the TV. Of course, he is but still, I am so confused.

"so as we already know the reason why we are here, its been a year since when my brother had been missing and my people as well as the police are trying to find him but still there is no clue about him except that he is still in New York" he stated coldly. His face doesn't display any kind of emotion at all, he has that dominating personality that can force anyone to bow in front of him. I don't know but his aura is so dark and dangerous I can feel it even through the Tv screen. But before it wasn't like that.

I thought confused to the next level that my head started hurting.

" He is a hot man "Bella screamed, true though I stare at Bella with a blank expression for some time but then shook my head to get rid of those thoughts.

I saw him answering the questions for 15 minutes but as the conference was about to wind up, the last reporter raised his hand, and Andrea, nodded his head allowing him to continue

"sir everyone heard what you said about the matter but still you have not given any kind of extra information about your brother to the media, is that because you don't want the public to know much about him or your family?? if yes, then why?... also, why do you never share your family images or information with the public even though you are a public figure?" the reporter asked and sit back on his chair. everything went silent for a second nobody spoke a word.

after some moments Andrea spoke putting his elbows on the table and interlocking his fingers in front of his mouth "hmm.. interesting question, firstly, the reason I am not making him public is that I have lots of rivals. My brothers work with me and they have an equal contribution to my business but... as we already know what happened in the past with my family members more specifically, my brother and father"

I gasped and with him saying that everything went silent again for some time.

" so keeping the past and our current business situations in the head, I am protective of my family and don't want the history to repeat itself but the media wanted to know about the investigation so we are discussing some limited information with you if you still have a problem we will not share any further information with you is that fine? " he asked with an arched eyebrow.

dammmm...that was good I laughed a bit. He is cool.

No doubt I liked him......he has that "zero fucks given attitude"

when nobody spoke he smirked" thought so" he got up and left the room and the conference ended.

I laughed a bit and turned my head to look at my best friends" guys did y-" I shut up when I saw no one around me. I gasped I was watching this alone all this time. I was so confused that I didn't even notice, I will ask him the truth he lied to me. I sit on the couch for a while staring at the wall then got up with a huff and looked at my phone to see the time, it was around 4:00 pm. I will call him in the morning I thought to myself and got up.

" Guys I am leaving it's late" I shouted while putting my stuff in my bag

" Okay simp" Bella yelled back and the other two laughed, I frowned " what did you say?" I asked

"ohhhhh come on blossom don't think we didn't notice" Jason yelled laughing afterward, I rolled my eyes and shouted" bye weirdos," I said, you don't know anything I thought to myself and sighed with that I left Mike's apartment.

There were thousands of thoughts going through my head, I was so lost.

"Lying to someone is a bad thing" I whispered to myself with a pout kicking the dirt with my feet.

while going back to my apartment I bought something for dinner and it took me almost an hour to get back into my apartment building. I took the elevator and pressed the 13th floor after some moments the elevator door opened and I stepped out of it but when I was about to the door my eyes caught something which was quite abnormal.

the door of Amelia's apartment was slightly open. I frowned this isn't something she is careless about, she knows it can be dangerous when a kid like Flo is inside. I walked to her apartment and peeked inside"Amelia hello?" I called quietly but no answer my frown deepened when I saw no lights inside. I gulped something is wrong but what?

I got inside slowly put my bag near the door on the floor and held my phone tightly in my hand. I started walking slowly towards the living room my body instantly came to a halt when I heard a muffled cry and someone whispering something and that certain someone was not Amelia or Flo. My body started shaking I put my hand on the wall for support.

I took a deep breath and walked further but started running when flo cried loudly. when I entered the living room every head snapped in my direction. My eyes got wide when I saw who was in front of me, he was standing there in front of me in all his glory.

there were almost 10 men all built and dressed in black. They all were almost 6 feet I stare at them for some seconds but then my eyes started to find Amelia and flo. When I couldn't able to find them I looked at him our dark brown eyes met with each other for the first time, there was only a lamp as a source of light but still light was pretty dim I yelled: " where are they?"

he raised an eyebrow and stared at me for a while from the same position he was in,

When he didn't reply I shouted again"I am asking you something??"

Every guy in the room tensed up but he didn't change his position but just stare at me with his thumb rubbing his chin.

Then suddenly he started to take slow steps toward me with his hands in his pockets. His aura was so intimidating and dark that my whole body was yelling at me to run back but I didn't run, I stayed put.

He can't scare me!

He stopped some inches away from me and looked down at me with amusement in his eyes.

i didn't stop glaring " Where are they, Andrea?" I again glared up at him. I heard other men gasp but I didn't move my gaze from him. He can intimidate anyone but not me not happening.

He raised his eyebrows and tilted his head to the right his gaze never left my face.

"Answer me dam it!!" I shouted at his face holding him by the collar of his shirt. I saw some men taking out their guns from the corner of my eye but he just raised his left hand in the air and they stopped. I was so pissed that I started to tear up.

No Rose this isn't the right time to cry!!!

He moved slightly to the left so I could see behind him. This time I stared at him for a while then looked at what was behind him, my eyes got wide at the scenario, and instantly, I looked back at him with a shocked face my hands never left his shirt and he never even tried to free it from me.

He slowly held my hands with his big ones and moved them down from his collar. I gulped hard and he smirked. I tried to pull my hands out of his hold but his hands went to my waist and he pulled me harshly to his chest. I gasped and looked up at him with wide eyes.

" surprise Principessa"

He said looking down at me with a smirk
