They asked here and there about the status of Malroy because it had leaked that he was awake but mostly they were hounding her about how she'd fallen prey to the Sweetheart killer and about using all her parents' money to get to where she was. ﻿ 


Try as he might, Carter couldn't control them. They were so much. ﻿ 


Kory decided it was time she faced the music, though she wished it was at a better time. They were planning to make the phone call that would reveal to them if, truly, her theory was right. ﻿
