Love and Hate

"It was ecstatic," I muttered

"You guys are way too common. Who ate corndogs on their first date?" she sighed and rolled her eyes.

"What do you mean? Corndogs are the best," I said while shaking her shoulders.

"It was your first date, your first fucking date! and you bought corndogs for dinner? Did you even get to eat some real food?" she questioned, looking directly into my eyes.

"Well, a corndog and popcorn is a meal, so I guess, yeah?" I answered, and I knew it pissed her off.

"Well, I love that you guys are now dating, but I really don't get the hotdog on a stick as a date thing. I mean, you could eat out at some restos; there are a lot of cheap but delish foods out there," she proclaimed.

"There is this sushi resto in the mall, and they're so cheap. Also, there is this barbecue house with unlimited pork and beef that is very cheap as well," she added.
