Mariana Locksley, a sixteen year old mermaid, the direct descendant of the god of the ocean, Neptune, must fight the tyrant that sits on her throne while protecting her human mate. She is also faced with the task of merging the land and the see by uniting the people of the surface and the people of the ocean. Mariana has to mate before it's too late and the tyrant takes over both worlds.

A Mermaid's Tale

As we're walking down to the docks I can't help but feel like something is going to happen. This feeling is making me sick and I know it's Logan. Since we started feeling each other, it has been different. He has really strong emotions which I think will at some point drive me insane. His jealousy earlier nearly had me lose my mind. He made me feel like I can punch Carlos in the face. This boy is really going to be the end of me if he doesn't learn to control his emotions and how much of it he exposes to me. 


But I have to admit, I kind of like it. Knowing how he feels when other guys are being too friendly for his liking. It makes me smile to myself and I feel the joy in my heart spread, and I can't help it when I pass it on to him. "What makes you so happy?" Logan asks me, and he too is smiling, when I look at him. "Just thinking." Is all I say and we walk on in silence.
