{ Not the beginning of an investigation }
Several minutes later, I decided to go to the Central Park at west of Paris Academy, just to spend some time thinking there and... because of some vagrant whose name I can't remember.
Who was now in front of me, laying down on a bench, clenching his stomach in pain.
Hm...
Red hair, brown eyes, spiky hair similar to mine while wearing travelling clothes and has a sheathed sword with a golden hilt laying near him.
I picked it up without minding the surprised look on his face and unsheathed it. It now seems to be a well-designed sword with a glowing blade. Plus it's kinda weightless, though I don't think stealing this might help me.
On the other hand, it'd just give me more trouble than the benefits I want/need.
"W-Wait... sir... can you please... help me?" The red haired boy spoke in a pained manner.
"You got food poisoning?"
"Urgh... yes... I ate something... from the stands recently."
"Did you notice anyone near you before that ate?"
"... violet haired girl... passed by-ack!?"
My hand slipped to your abdomen, not sorry.
"Thanks for the information, I should just begin healing you now."
"W-what... do... you..." The red haired boy tried to speak, even in an even more restrained, slightly hopeless tone.
By healing, I mean punching his solar plexus hard enough to force him asleep for a day or two, before leaving the park without a care in the world.
Next stop: Bistro Bar Flanders... I guess that's it's name, or something.
When I entered it, it was as I expected, a plain-looking, empty bar.
There was nobody inside other than I who recently entered, and a muscular old guy behind a counter.
He looked really gloomy for an entire reason: the only barmaid, or his daughter, Pulptenks has been taken away.
"Business hasn't been blooming lately, pops. Isn't it because someone's missing?" I spoke in a casual manner while making a thinking gesture, making him show a surprised face.
"H-How did you know?"
"That's because it's obvious! Bars like this needed a cute barmaid, and I, the greatest adventurer of the Keith Guild (literal), Rance, have figured it out the moment I entered the bar." I replied as the gloomy man started to have tears flowing down his eyes as when I was nearby, he suddenly grabbed me by my shoulders.
"I-Is that so...? Please, you have to save my daughter! She's been taken away by the Endless Tomorrow Gang, and because of that, this bar is no longer having customers. I couldn't even properly do anything-"
"Yeah, yeah... Stop talking, I'll find the gang and rescue your daughter! Just have what I order here free afterwards so that I wouldn't waste too much money. Also, don't touch that backpack, that contains a lot of important supplies. If I noticed that even one thing is missing from the backpack, you're going to a world of hurt, understand?"
The guy agreed as he was overjoyed, before I left with a rare bottle so that I could evade an encounter with a cute girl.
Also, who's that guy again? Bobza Flanders? I'm just calling him Bob from now on as that name seemed fitting, I suppose.
And why did I leave some of my stuff there? I could trust that guy, as he was the one who requested that I take back his daughter.
Once I exited the bar, dusk was about to come by, so I immediately moved to exit the town.
For half an entire hour, I searched for the gang's territory using scanning magic while defeating several gang members.
When I found their hideout, not before meeting a strange Alicist guy that has lost his direction that also used healing magic on me after pointing out where Leazas Castle City was.
Instead of sneezing to get through, I kicked the seal open, didn't care about a muscular guy that was eating his food and killed him without much remorse, ran forwards and easily defeated (killed) several thieves on my way with my god-like swordsmanship.
I quickly traversed through the cave, until I arrived next to a large door saying "Boss's Room".
"Hm? This must be the Boss of the generic Gang's room, based on the how obvious it was." I spoke, before I was about to use magic to bust open the door, when I heard sounds coming from behind it.
One was from a man, saying something about "pleasuring" the girl until she breaks, and the other was the said girl's unwilling moans. There's the sound of a vibrator inside, too.
... The sounds are starting to annoy me, you know? I need to get this done quickly...
Yet, the sounds of a person approaching me brought my attention towards her.
"And who might you be?" I asked the girl who looked pretty mature, and quite enticing as she wore little clothing to cover her torso.
"I'm the vice-leader of this gang, Necai. And you?" The purple haired girl, Necai, spoke in a laid-back manner. Something tells me that she doesn't really want to be here.
"It's Rance, the greatest adventurer of Keith Guild. Look, I'm not really into injuring cute girls like you, so how about a small bribe?" I said, trying to convince her while I took out the bottle I took for free earlier and waved it in front of her.
"..."
It seems she actually accepted the bribe quite quickly, and even inspected it if it really was real.
After a good blowjob, she tossed me the key she has to the boss's room.
"Hey, if you quit being a thief soosm, I could recommend joining the Keith Guild to be an adventurer. That may be all."
And then, I unlocked the door and entered, putting a stop to what the guy had been doing. I didn't really care about describing this boss guy, so I'll just be simplistic: his hair was strangely multicolored and perfectly divided between both sides of his face, and he looked annoyed at me for interrupting his session of molesting Pulptenks.
"Who are you? No... you're...! Rance Roswell!? How did you get here?! Urk... you must still be exhausted from how many of my men you have defeated, so I'm taking this chance! The girl can wait later!" The guy shouted, stepping forward in anger, immediately drawing his two curved blades and readying himself for battle.
Look, I'm pretty well-known through a few parts of the continent, mostly on my hometown of Ice, and a few on the Free Cities Alliance, which Ice was a part of, so it wouldn't be that surprising if someone knows me through my great face and hair alone, but...
Time to show this boss guy who's the real boss!
