Chapter 63

Nell, lying in his hospital bed, opened his eyes slowly. Nell using his eyes, but his sight was a little blurry. But from the noise he could hear he noticed he was in a hospital. He could hear the heart monitor.

"I'm at a hospital, how long have I been here", thought Nell trying to understand everything going on.

A nurse came into the room and saw Nell gaining conscience back. The nurse started to call the doctor. When the doctor came into the room he and the nurse began to try and help Nell.

Nell hearing the doctor ask him questions couldn't fully understand everything. Nell's eyes just closed again. He went back into the darkness of sleep.

TWO WEEKS LATER

Nell was standing in front of a grave on a cloudy day after it rained minutes ago. He was standing by himself putting flowers down at Roberts grave. Buried in the M.R.C. X Warriors Graveyard. Nell bandaged up around the top of his head, arm and shoulder was just wiping his tears. Savo flew down and landed on his master's unharmed shoulder.

"Master don't cry. He's in a better place now. I promise", said Savo rubbing his master with his furry head.

Nell moved his hand and started to scratch Savo under his chin while looking down at the grave.

Footsteps started to be heard while Nell was looking down at Robert's grave. The person walked up beside Nell in a black suit. The person sighed and tried to think of a way to start a conversation. Nell moved the umbrella and saw Microsoft X standing beside him.

"Hey", said Microsoft X trying to comfort Nell. "Good job. You did well on this mission Nell like always", said Microsoft X looking down at Roberts grave.

Nell started to tear up while looking at Microsoft X, his leader.

"Did I say something wrong. Sorry, I was trying to think of something while in the car", said, Microsoft X. But Nell wasn't upset with his leader, he was upset with himself.

Nell walked up to Microsoft X, Nell dropped the umbrella and hugged Microsoft X tightly. Microsoft X was surprised to see Nell's sudden emotion just change to wanting care. He's never seen Nell like this since he was eleven. Microsoft X lifted his arms and hugged Nell back as tight as possible. He wanted to make Nell feel comfortable and safe. He wanted to help him feel like someone was there for him.

"I failed you boss. I couldn't save Ruby or your son. All I could do was find out who was the virus. I failed you, I'm so sorry…", said Nell crying rubbing his face in Microsoft X's stomach.

"No… you did great for what you were able to accomplish. I can tell you we extracted the energy of my wife and son from both Jacobs. You did perfect", said Microsoft X trying to comfort Nell.

"But what now", said Nell looking up at Microsoft X. "How will we get files of Ruby to try and bring her back here", said Nell letting go of Microsoft X.

"Both Jacobs had DNA of the people you wanted to save the most on your mission, the people I loved most. "We can probably reform Ruby and my son's existence through the files we have from Jacob's thievery", said Microsoft X.

"But, what now Microsoft. I completed this mission after 3 months. It took longer than you probably expected", said Nell looking away. "I couldn't save someone near me from being killed. I shouldn't even be a Celestial Data Wielder anymore", said Nell.

"Nell", said Microsoft X putting his hand on Nell's head.

Nell looked up at Microsoft X's face.

"You did well. I mean it. Robert would be proud of you. And that's why I wanted to add you on the new JXW team", said Microsoft X smiling.

"Really", said Nell sniffing and drying his eyes.

"Yes. Welcome to the team Nell. "You will be a good ally to a new affiliation", said Microsoft X.

"But I won't fit in with new people. It took me awhile to get along with my old friends", said Nell looking away.

"But you did well with Caleb, Chloe, and Robert in Verse 12. So, I know you can do it again", said Microsoft X smiling.

Nell looked down at Roberts grave, then looked at Savo sitting on the ground beside him. Nell then sighed and looked with confidence.

"Ill do it", said Nell with confidence in his voice.

"That's what I want to hear", said Microsoft X smiling.

Nell smiled from hearing praise from his leader.

"I'll be waiting for you in the car", said Microsoft X walking away from the grave and Nell to start the car back up.

Nell turned to look back at Robert's grave. Nell put his hand on the gravestone. "See you, Robert. It seems I'm going to become a hero. I'm closer to making my master even happier while watching me from somewhere. Like you said, he'll come back one day.

Nell removed his hand from the gravestone and turned away from the grave. Savo flew back onto Nell's shoulder.

"Let's go buddy", said Nell walking towards the car.

Nell got to the car and opened the passenger door. Nell got into the car and let Savo sit on his lap.

Microsoft X turned in the car to look at Nell. "Are you ready?", said Microsoft X starting the car.

"I'm ready boss, this car is really nice. I really forget how rich you celestial beings are. You have been around for thousands of years", said Nell.

"Don't worry, this money doesn't mean as much as my Junior X Warriors", said Microsoft X putting his foot on the petal to begin to drive out of the Funeral Home.

Jacob was in his prison cell trying to keep himself calm. Jacob was writing on the small napkin he had trying to contact someone, anyone who could help him with a spell. But Jacob knew no one was getting him out. Jacob shouted punching the wall in his small cell cubical. Jacob was breathing heavily.

"Nichole, Cyber Chameleon, Rattis, Marcus and Ocelot have failed me. You all are weak, I gave you everything to win", said Jacob looking down at the floor of his cell.

"You humans are so dramatic once you're caught", said a mysterious voice coming from inside the cell. I've been here since the founding of the M.R.C. and all I hear is children crying because they couldn't make a difference.

"Who are you", said Jacob looking around in his cell. "If this is some kind of trick, I won't fall for it", said Jacob looking at the door.

"This isn't a trick my friend. I gave you what you needed to succeed, and you failed", said the Mysterious Voice.

"My King", said Jacob bowing in his small cubical with his head down in shame.

"Good, that's the respect I enjoy seeing. You may have failed but do not worry my child, I will cause the Final Great Catastrophe once I'm free from this pod. I promise you, the world shall bend to me", said the Mysterious Voice.

"Master, I will always believe you and be a pond in your game to help you succeed", said Jacob still bowing.

"Perfect. Then wait for me. I have many more plans and allies preparing to help my day finally come true. I will not be sealed for all eternity like the other Catastrophe Lords. I just need to cause a little more destruction in all the worlds held by these weak Celestial Gods", said the Mysterious Voice laughing. Jacob was still bowing while hearing his master's joy.
