(PAST EVENT)
Yoshi was unfazed by the event. "And the youngster? What is he doing here?
He showed a shrug. "Does it matter? Yet another unfortunate patent that nobody wants. His grin had become gloomy at this point. "Does that ring a bell?"
Yoshi gripped the rifle she was holding more firmly. "Is that what you thought I was? Unwanted?"
"No. What you were was a pain in my dick, and I am sorry for that.
"Wrong answer." She struck him with both wrists at the same time, releasing the venom from her Cat's Bite shackles with each blow. Thomas writhed in pain as the electric charge surprised him, and his head snapped backward, which caused him to collide with the chair.
Thomas sat up and raised his head. His eyes had the look of a madman about them at this point. "Forever Black. They refer to people like you by that name. You may talk a big game, but the reality is that you are not any more of a weapon than I am.
"Thomas, I couldn't be more different than you." She aimed her weapon directly at him. Her hand shook slightly. Just do it. He deserves it. You need to have completed the task a very long time ago.
The corners of Thomas' mouth turned up in an odd grin. "You're a time bomb waiting to go off." The shock had left its mark on his face, which remained pallid. "It's only a question of when. It is not going to be possible for you to cut through this wire. Not coming from me, and certainly not from the Underground Society." Blood came spitting out of his mouth. "I really really hope that I'm around when you blow up." On the other hand, Yoshi was no longer paying attention. This was completely incorrect.
There was clearly a problem. What exactly is he holding out for? What is he playing at? Yoshi cast a sidelong glance in the direction of the soldiers who were preventing her from leaving, but just as she did so, Thomas reached out and grasped the lever on the machine that was situated between the child and himself. This is a warning indication. The process has begun. There is activity taking place.
As soon as Yoshi pulled the lever, he was able to hear the first several rounds. She was propelled forward along with the line of removed, which pushed her in the direction of Thomas the Weird and the even apparatus he was using.
Yoshi, the kid, and Thomas were all discovered in the restroom at the same time. Even when Thomas yelled, it was already too late. The machine was peppered with holes by the onslaught of bullets. It went up in a puff of thick, dark smoke after exploding with a loud bang.
Yoshi dove to the side of Thomas and toward the boy in order to avoid being hit by the stray gunfire. She yelled at him as she lifted him out of the chair and announced, "I'm getting you out of here!"
But before she could, a large electrical pulse rushed from the machine and flooded through the wiring to the electrodes. This caused the bodies of both the youngster and the old man to be lifted off the ground. And because Yoshi was the one who was holding the child, she was the one who felt the lift. Yoshi, Thomas, and the unidentified child were all momentarily caught in the same bluish light for a fraction of a second.
This is exactly what he desired. I had no choice but to do so. After that, the pain was so severe that nothing else could distract me from it. Yoshi had the notion, "nails." It feels like poison needles. sweeping through each and every one of my mental and physical faculties.
She had never been put in such a vulnerable position. She was hit with a barrage of visuals that her brain was unable to grasp all at once. Her head was raging with anguish, and the burning sensation in her brain was intense. Under it, she struggled and writhed. However, the blue light disappeared, even if only for the reason that everything else in its vicinity was engulfed in flames. The entirety of the warehouse had caught fire. A second explosion occurred, which was significantly larger than the previous one. Then there was another. Still one more...
Yoshi has finally come to the conclusion that the W.O.M.D machine was not a singular piece of technology at all, but rather a collection of generators. She reasoned that based on the ignition pattern, practically every shipping container in the warehouse must have included one component or another that was hooked together. This indicated that the blast wave would be significantly larger than what she had anticipated. Much, much bigger. Additionally, the kill zone will be there.
Thomas let out a scream before collapsing to the ground and grasping his head. The cooked chip that was on his forehead began to emit a smoky black smoke. Dead? The young youngster let out a piercing scream. Yoshi didn't hesitate.
She grabbed the child and rolled beneath a weapons locker, causing the last of the cables to break loose when they were released. She protected the child's hearing by placing her hands over his ears while the locker, the warehouse, and the rest of the world shook around them.
