Chapter 118

A month later…

A Junior X Warriors meeting was taking place inside of the MRC Headquarters. Jayden, Helena, Christian, Jordan, Isaac, Paul, and Nell were sitting around the table after a month of physical and mental rehabilitation if needed. Microsoft X is standing in front of all his little subordinates who have fought for him. 

"I'm so proud of you. All of you. You did something I never thought would be possible after the fall of the original X Warriors creation, which was defeat a enemy of the MRC because of their beliefs in me. I'm so thankful for all your support and even choosing to stay after all that you went through really warmed my heart alien organs", said Microsoft X with a nod towards all the JXW's.

Nell giggled seeing that Microsoft X tried to make a joke.

"At least one of you thought that was funny", said Microsoft X.

"Well, dad jokes are never funny", said Christian with a smile.

"Hey… I don't think that was a dad joke", said Microsoft X.

"Don't worry boss, you'll catch up with the times", said Jordan smirking.

"Oh, come on, I'm over thousands of years old. I've caught up to so many of you", said Microsoft folding his arms and looking away.

The JXW's started to laugh around the table from Microsoft X taking the criticism so seriously. Jayden, while giggling looked over at Helena who was texting during the meeting. She usually is always so focused on these meetings, but it seems like something else has her attention.

Jordan after laughing looked over to Yoshi's seat and noticed she didn't show up again. "Hey boss, where's our girl Yoshi".

Christian looked over at his friend and could see he was worried about Yoshi missing. 

"Don't worry, I've been in contact with her, she said she'll need more time for her mission", said Microsoft X looking at Jordans worried face.

"Alright, but if she needs help, you can always send us to assist her", said Jordan.

"Sorry Jordan, but Yoshi only goes her missions alone", said Microsoft X.

"I see", said Jordan putting his head down hoping that Yoshi was ok.

Christian reached across and put his hand on Jordans shoulder. "Don't worry. You know she can defend herself. She always has".

Jordan looked over at Christian and then smiled at his friend. Jayden pulled out his phone and sent a text to everyone in the room but Nell who was too busy petting Savo's head. Jordan, Christian, Paul, and Isaac all looked at their phone seeing the text. The text read "Who do you think she's texting so happy like that". The room went silent and everyone except Nell looked at Helena who was still texting with a smile on her face. Helena sending another text noticed the room became silent and looked up seeing everyone was staring at all her close friends were staring at her.

So… who you texting like that", said Paul moving his eyebrows up and down at Helena.

"Oh, umm… I'm texting my first best friend", said Helena with a awkward smile on her face.

"And who's that", said Jayden raising one eyebrow at her. "You haven't told me about this person.

"Sorry, well. Umm. He's been on a mission for the past couple of years, so I haven't been in contact with him since I was twelve", said Helena moving her hair and putting her phone down on the table. 

"But wait, who is he", asked Christian.

"He's the guy that saved you four", said Microsoft X summoning a folder into his hand.

"Wait, that Gael guy", asked Jordan now interested.

"Yeah, but he's a nice guy and is going to start helping us with our missions. He's been promoted to a X Warrior now.

"Helping us, I thought this team was made to help you form a new league for the MRC", said Christian looking confused.

"Don't worry. He will be a great ally for bringing the team together even better than it already is. I just want to see how well you all do with a promoted Warrior", said Microsoft X.

"Well. That doesn't seem to bad", said Christian shrugging his shoulders.

"I just hope he's a team player then that's all that matters", said Nell.

"I didn't know when you were going to speak", said Jayden looking at Nell.

"Oh, I was just pampering my best boy", said Nell smiling at Savo sleeping on the table.

"Sure", said Jayden rolling his eyes.

"Listen, can you guys please treat him with respect. He's been part of my life since we were kids' intel, we joined the MRC. I just want you all to get along", said Helena looking at everyone one by one.

"Don't worry, ill try anything for my best girl", said Jayden grabbing Helena's hand.

Helena smiled when she looked at him.

"Don't worry Helena, well make him feel at home", said Paul with a smile.

"Thanks guys, he's going to be a great help for the team. I promise.

"Ok, well we'll keep your word on that", said Jayden grinning at Helena.

"Don't worry, he's a strong Celestial Welder just like us", said Helena.
