The Arcorn Empire

The Arcorn empire started as a rebel state out of the borders of the Terran Republic. It was born out of the Great Terran Rebellion. During this rebellion, many of the colonies and states of of the Once Great Terran Republic rebelled against their rulers and broke out to start anew. The Great council of the Terran republic made quite a few bad decisions and changed some long standing policies that benefited the people. They changed it so that it benefited the 18 Dynasties and gave them much the sway in the Republic.

Things got bad quickly as the 18 dynasties did a horrible job at their new positions and everything started to break down. The border regions were being starved and Oppressed. As a result the Great Terran Rebellion started. During this, 3 different regions of the Republic broke out and founded their own states.

The Ogril Federation was the first state to declare their independence. They were a barren border region without much going on for them. The policy change hurt them the most. As the support from the capital and rest of the republic was cut off instantly! They consisted of a collection of star sectors. After Independence they started ramping up their mining operations. As the only thing that they had was enormous planets that were rich with different kinds of common metals. This worked for them as they quickly found quite a few deposits of different kinds of exotics. With that they began to rebuild and quickly became a powerful enough to defend themselves against both human and alien invaders. They were quite industrious in nature and were trade oriented as their heavy factory planets churned out common goods at a surprising rate. They were almost on par with the Republic currently. Vying to leave them in the dust.

The Osnia Empire were militaristic maniacs. Before the war, They bordered with an Alien empire, That caused the area to became a hub of activity and quite fortified. After the Rebellion, The Osnians began to ramp up their Production of Star ships and battleships over many other things. Everyone knew what was going to happen. They decided to go to an all-out war with the aliens and won! They wiped out all the Aliens in their cross hair and then began to colonize the planets. Although the aliens weren't really powerful, They had lots of planets rich with different kinds of rare exotics. After taking them over, all the damages of the war was almost recouped. They Quickly began to expand outwards and always seem to be fighting against one alien empire or another.

The Arcorn Empire had risen to be the most powerful of the bunch. It had a ton of research institutes and Industry. It also helped that it had quite a few planets rich with minerals and exotics when starting out. When it broke away from the Republic. It naturally kept everything. Together with the research institutes of the empire, It doubled down on technological research. This quickly led them to be the powerhouse they are today.

The Arcorn Empire long left the republic in the dust technologically, It also began to expand in size as it began to colonize available star systems and star sectors near it's borders. With the help of powerful battleships designed by the best minds of the empire it quickly dominated every alien race it came into contact. It grew into size and was comparable to the Osnia Empire. Although it grew really big, it still kept it's research orientate goals. Which led the Arcorn empire to become the central hub of Technological Advancements in Human space. Most of the current human civilization enjoyed the fruits of the Arcornian advancements.

Being of the same origins, The 3 states tried to maintain good relationship, Although that relationship came under immense strain when one party or another did something the other one didn't like, But it was still stable as of now.

The Ogril Federation was the biggest traders among the bunch. It traded with everyone along with the republic. And acted as an intermediary when it came to the trade deals between the republic and the others. The Osnia Empire hates the republic for what it did and how they left them hanging when the aliens invaded the osnia region back then. For this they still maintained hostile relationship with the republic.

The Arcorn Empire didn't care about the republic anymore. As the lesser state of the bunch and only a husk of it's former self, The Republic didn't demand any attention as far as the Arcorn Empire was concerned. So they shared many technological advancements with them and traded many things. As a research oriented state, Anything they produced was superior to anything you'd find elsewhere. All the cutting edge High-tech stuff was available in Arcorn first.

It Also has a very healthy economy thanks to all the trade deals with the Republic and others. For this reason it wasn't short on credits. But the thing with terraforming is the exotics required varied from planet to planet. And finding suitable planets to begin with was also a huge pain. But it was still possible. But the cost became increasingly prohibitive as the planet in question got more challenging. For this reason it only terraformed a few planets every decade or so.

Based on the data, It seemed that the 4 planets were terraformed to be identical and then put into their specific orbits. Although working with such huge planets was beyond even the Arcorn empire, The race responsible for the planets didn't seem to mind.

"I doubt it was a hard job for them, if they can work with planets this size, then they sure can terraform them.", York said casually as he read what was going on in Kita's mind.

"I agree, It shouldn't have been hard for them, But the question still remains. Why? Why go through such lengths and set up the planets this way? What are the motives behind them?"

"Beats me, who knows what was going on in their minds? We don't even know who's responsible. Maybe It's art for them."
