Opening my eyes I could see my monitor in front of me.

Before my eyes was also a video playing 5 hours clips of cats and dogs doing random cute stuff.
Cracking my back I saw that I was a bit sweaty so I got up from my gaming chair and went to take a shower.
I couldn't go to my first day of highschool like that.

I stubbed my toe on the desk and wanted to scream but it was 3:32 AM and so I didn't.
Cans of energy drinks were everywhere and fast food boxes too.
Getting a towel and underwear from my closet I opened the door to my small hallway and made my way to the bathroom.
After showering I felt fresh and went to the kitchen ate a chocolate bar, for whatever reason my stomach wanted something sweet and then just went to my room and jumped on the bed to get some sleep.

Hearing the alarm from my phone I got up.

Surprisingly I woke up to my first alarm making a sound.
I opened my closet and took some cargo pants and a hoodie. I then put on some perfume and then went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

I had a lot of time to go to my new school so I walked in a slow pace.

I was so focused on my phone while walking that I didn't see a kid below me. To be fair I was quite a tall guy so... and the kid was running too.
" I'm sorry ,are you ok?"
I wasn't sure if I should say sorry or him he was about 9 or 10 so I didn't know if i should call him kid or not. I overthink a lot.
' No sorry it was my fault.'

I was expecting but instead he said.

And then he just ran away. I was walking at a slow pace so how is this my fault and he called me a dumbass.

There we're a lot of people talking around me while I was watching at the list of where my name is so I know in which class I am.
If you are wondering why I am alone. No I'm not a loner or anti-social or introvert I just don't have any friends because I moved here this summer that just passed , Puzer, which is the city where I am living at right now.
Basically there isn't anything that we need to do for today. All the first years just need to go at their classes and meet their homeroom teacher and get our measurements later for our uniforms.
There are a total of 5 classes for a year. The order was simple to understand.
I/1 , I/2 , I/3 , I/4 , I/5. The roman number meant at what year u we're at, and the arabic number meant in which class you were in.
Walking in the school the hallways were large the classes which I assumed are too.
Went in I/4 which is now my new class and saw some other students. Some were talking some were just staying on their phones, which is normal , of course I mean not everyone knew each other.
*pull*
I pulled a chair which was located in the first row, I just got the nearest seat when I entered because I was kinda shy too talk with people right now so I didn't want to got at the other rows which other people were located.
I was playing on my phone passing time while others were doing the same mostly and just a few were talking.

The door opened.
Everyone went quiet.
In came a woman at her 30s or so. She was wearing a black a bit oversized T-shirt tucked under a dark blue skirt and low heels.
"Hello. My name is Lisa Quaid. I teach mathematics and I am your homeroom teacher. I will give it my all to have a good time with you all and teach you as best as I can."
Reaching at her bag for something she pulled out a pen and a paper.
"Right now I am going to give you a list. In it I want you to complete the information in the empty boxes and pass the pen and paper behind you."
She gave it to me first. What was written on the paper was the basic info that we need to give the school. Which were our and guardians name, email, phone number.
I completed it and passed down to a girl behind me. And so on.
"Also if some isn't happy with their seat change your seats until the end of this week, after that you can't."
She said.
She then proceeded to talk a little about what we were going to learn and she answered a couple of questions that a few students had.
After the list was completed she took it and told us where to go to take our measurements for girls and boys.
I was 1,90 m tall my waist was 80.6. I am skinny but tall not really that proud of my physique.

I closed the front door took of my shoes and went straight to my PC .

I turned on my PC clicked on my browser and logged in on my NapGram account.

I just scrolled on it because I didn't know what else to do. I was bored. But tomorrow will be the best day of my year probably. That is because tomorrow I turn 16 and finally can play VR games but the one I wanted to play was of course 'ZENODOX Online'. This game has been out since 2023 and still is being played , still nobody has beaten it.
Since I firstly saw this game up until now I have been watching gameplays of the game so I could be ready to play it and know the basics. The game is so long and complex to explain even their synopsis was short. The reason this game can't be explained so easily because it was made by a complex system called 'Fury'.
The system was programed to give the players their unique basics and the true ending of the game is known to only 2 people as of now. But the system was also programed to make countless of sidequests everyday so one could even think he beat the game but in fact, just completed a hard sidequest.
The only thing we know that the game will be complete it is by some information the creators of the game said in 2023.
'If the ending of the game is reached the game will be shut down and the player who won/ended the game will be awarded 25 billion Pos.'
Later on in 2027.
'There are some endings of the game which are the: true ending , good ending , bad ending , system ending , and the original ending.'
And didn't say less or more after this. All 6 main creators died later on but didn't ever speak of the game again.
There were and still are a lot of theories on how the game works it could end etc. but still none of them were actually proved. Up until now we got very big achievements such as 'Untouchable Mortal' which was given to a player called 'Ros990' in 2029 after he defeated a demi-god being in the game at 80% body link with the game and was not touched once whilst fighting, yea not even once not even a scratch which is insane.
Then there is the achievement 'Titan' which was given to a player called 'cutegecko23' in 2048 after the 'Zeno War 4' ended his region still suffered defeat but he got the achievement because he slayed 1057 players and did all that at 50% body link which is crazy.
I have preordered a VR set which cost me 700 Pos but I don't regret it of course because I have been wanting to play on it since I first saw gameplay of Zenodox which was like 4 years ago, and I was hooked on it since then. Yea maybe I could be called an addict but the game just is too good.
I was passing time playing games and watching countless videos on the internet just so the clock went 00:00.

I decided to head outside and get some fresh air and after that I decided to clean my room. I started by just cleaning the dust of places and removing trash also tidying some stuff up. When its summer I don't really pay attention to my room , I don't really care too much since mostly I will be inside but when I have school I always try to be cleaner, I like being fresh and looking nice.
After cleaning some dust and taking out trash, I took my vacuum cleaner and started cleaning.
Finished I didn't really have what to do so I just went out to the supermarket near me it was like a 5 minute walk. I went to buy a some energy drinks and a small cake. It is kinda lonely without my family to celebrate my birthday or any friends.

I decided to play some Miss Strike : Global Defensive. I didn't really care to play it anymore even though I was near pro level, I just trolled and laughed the whole time. Hearing players shout at me at the same time voice cracking was so funny. I had a good time until I tried to play my third game of it.

After that I played some chess. Well didn't really play I just solved some puzzles and tried to memorize some openings and tried them against an intermediate bot.
Then I just went to sleep.
I woke up.
I was yet again sitting on my gaming chair facing the monitor.

"Finally 16."
I said.
I should really stop sleeping on my chair. My back hurts.
'I should probably get an office chair they are better to be honest.'
After cracking my back. I went straight to my front door.
Opened it and before my eyes was a package.
'FINALLY!'
I grabbed it.

I shut my front door.

After that what I saw before me was a blue suit , which was size M connect , with a very thin wire to a black head set looking similar to a scooter helmet, but the head set was a smaller and if you were to lay down it wouldn't be a problem. The head set was adjustable too.
There were also instructions inside the box with warnings too. But I didn't really need them I watched a lot of videos online so I already know everything.
The instructions were like :
- How to connect.
- How to be positioned.
- If you are playing a game that requires body link, wear the suit and only be on your underwear.
...
Some warnings were like :
- Check your room temperature before going online!
- Be aware, using from 50%-100% bodylink can lead to serious in real life injuries! We are not responsible if you are in any way injured!
- It is not recommended to fall asleep while in body suit and head set!
- Please leave your notifications on !

Putting my suit and head set on. I connected them to my PC.

A green light flashed on the headset, at the same time a green pattern on my suit was lighting up.
I pressed 'Go!' on the headset. It was the button to get into VR.
In an instant I was in a whole white room.

I looked behind me a red curtain was open.
^ Anytime you want to change your profile please go in the dressing room. ^
I went in. A screen popped up. The screen is needed to do basically everything. You need the screen to get access in the shop, in games, and like now to customize your character but the game just calls it profile. If the screen doesn't pop up there are 2 plausible reasons. 1. The password was wrong after 5 tries and you will need to wait until tomorrow to get access to the screen. 2. The VR system had an update which is necessary to install, if you don't you can't get access to your screen.
I changed my hair from default to white, my eyes to red and also just rearranged my bone structure on my face a little bit. Your body can be changed to a buff guy to a tall guy to anything but in some games such as Zenodox only your face wont change, your body will, this is because in Zenodox you need to train or level up or any how you call it to get buffed also your height on Zenodox will be the same as in real life, but your body when you start is always skinny.

I didn't really wanna talk so I just used my screen.

I truly can't believe it.
After two minutes or so the game installed.

After 4 years of waiting I get to play.
