Shelly Meets Rosa

Shelly agreed to meet the Wolf king with Shuu. He was so excited, it was like a teenager bringing his girlfriend home to meet his parents for the first time. Shelly smiled at the thought and climbed onto Shuu's wolf form. She had asked him before if she pulled too hard and he said no. He barely felt the tugs from her. She sighed and thought to herself, beastmen are too tough! She remembered pulling out a few hairs from her husband's eyebrows and he would make a big deal about it for hours afterwards. She had waxed both men and women and the men were usually more vocal about the pain.

She chuckled at the thought of waxing a big hairy wolf. Lol! She thought I would need a lot of wax! Then she thought of those hairless cats and decided it would be a bad idea. Shuu was blissfully unaware of her sadistic thoughts and thought she was happy about the ride and maybe about meeting his parents. He felt so lucky. They arrived at the Wolf king's castle and they were questioned by the guards except they already knew who Shelly was thanks to her delicious meat.

They looked a little hopeful at the thought of more delicious meat and asked, "Why have you returned with the female?" Shuu said, "My father requested for me to bring her to meet my mother." The guards nodded and let them pass. Shuu brought Shelly to the courtyard where his father and mother were enjoying the sun. Shelly greeted them politely, "Hello, Shuu said you requested for me to come here." Shuu's mother looked at Shelly in approval and said, "This is your new female cub, she is lovely." Shelly's cheeks blushed and she thanked the Wolf queen. She said, "She is also polite. I have found my new favorite of my cub's mates." Shelly said, "Thank you my queen."

Rosa was passing by with her wolf mate Bart and instantly became jealous. She went up to Shelly and said, "It's not enough that you stole Winston, but now you are the favored mate of her cubs." Shelly said, "You must be Rosa. I didn't steal Winston. I even told him if he wanted to go to you, he should. He was the one who told me it was not possible for him to be with you even before I met him."

Rosa fumed and went to slap Shelly. Shuu growled and Rosa said, "Be careful Shuu, if a male attacks a female he will be exiled from the city. I will tell my father." Shelly said, "He didn't attack you, but defended me. You were the one who tried to attack me first. If you want to complain to your father, make sure to tell the whole story." Shuu looked happy that Shelly defended him. He glared at Bart, his brother. They were both 3 striped males and evenly matched. They both growled at each other in warning.

The queen spoke up, "Enough, I love both of my sons equally and do not wish to see a fight." The Wolf king dismissed them so they would not fight in front of his mate. Shelly nodded at both of them. Shuu shifted and carried Shelly away, but was aware of Bart as he left. He didn't want to be jumped from behind. He would not allow Rosa to harm his female even if it meant they were exiled from the city. They were planning to leave after the cold season anyways. He could always leave sooner and meet up with them later. Then he thought about how lonely he would be during the cold season and decided not to fight for now.

They returned to the den just as it started to get colder. Shuu went inside and started a fire. Shelly went to the fire to warm herself. Shuu sat down and placed her on his lap and hugged her from behind. He said, "Is this ok? It will help to warm you faster." Shelly blushed and nodded. She could feel his tail wagging excitedly. She thought the males in this world are so happy to please. She thought back to Rosa and said, "Now Rosa is jealous about 2 things she thinks I stole from her. I hope she doesn't cause trouble for us."

Shuu looked at the fire and said, "If she does, I won't allow her to hurt you. Even if it means I will get exiled. I will find you once you decide to leave the city." Shelly nodded and said, "Let's try to avoid her and hope it doesn't come to that." She felt bad for causing a rift between Shuu and his brother and Winston and his brother. She asked, "Were you close to your brother growing up?" Shuu shook his head and said, "We were always rivals. We are evenly matched, but he always tried to fight with me for everything. He even thought he won the best mate, but now I have the best one. My mother even said so." He smirked and looked at Shelly. She blushed and looked away. "I like your mother, she seems fair." She thought of her own mother in law and was thankful she married an only child.

Harvey and Winston returned from hunting and had some deer meat. Harvey said, "How did it go at the Wolf castle?" Shuu said, "Shelly is now the favorite of my mother, but Rosa was there and got jealous." Winston huffed and told Shelly, "Don't worry, I won't let Rosa hurt you." She smiled and said, "Thank you, but we should avoid them for now." Harvey started to roast the meat with seasonings.

Soon the first snowflakes of the season started to fall. Shelly looked at them through the window in awe. She was from South Texas originally and didn't see a lot of snow. She snuggled closer to the big warm chest behind her. Harvey noticed her shiver and said, I made some warmer clothes for you from the furs. He handed her a fur coat and some fur covered boots. Shelly nodded and put them on. She felt so fancy. Those furs would cost a fortune in her world, not that she ever owned any herself.

She had some faux fur boots for the winter, but rarely got to wear them. These were soft and made from light gray and white furs. She didn't want to think too much about what type of animal they came from, but was happy to be warmer. She smiled at Harvey and said, "Thank you Harvey. These are very warm and soft." Harvey beamed at the praise and looked away bashfully.

They were distracted by a loud howl. Shelly asked, "What's that mean?" Winston and Shuu both said at the same time, "It's a call for the Ape king." Shelly looked skeptical and asked, "What does he want?" Shuu said, "Don't worry, it is a tradition for the first snowfall of the season. He has a drink to help warm the females for the cold season. We should go. It will help keep you warm." Shelly thought about it and asked, "Is it safe to drink something the Ape king gives us?"

Winston nodded and said, "There will be many beastment there. He will not attempt something like poisoning again in front of so many others. Also, you are a female. He will not kill you. You should go and drink the warming drink." She thought to herself, it is just wine. I would like to try it, but I'm not sure if I should. She was a lightweight and knew she could not handle a lot of alcohol. She thought, how strong could it be? It's a fruit wine made by Apes.

Shelly went with Shuu to the Ape castle. She decided it would be better for Winston to stay at home with Harvey. They reluctantly agreed and helped Shelly bundle up. She felt like a kid on Christmas all bundled up and riding a giant wolf through the snow. They arrived at the Ape castle and there were many beastmen waiting outside of the room with the wine. A wolf guard approached them and guided Shelly to the room. Shuu followed behind in his 2 legged form. He stared at the guard and gave him a warning growl when the guard tried to shut him out of the room. The Ape king came by and said, "It's ok, let him pass, but keep the door closed to keep the room warm. Shelly eyed the Ape king cautiously.

Shuu guided Shelly to the ape beastmen who were serving the wine to the females. He accepted a stone bowl filled with fruit wine and gave it to Shelly. She looked at the drink and sniffed it cautiously. She was expecting it to be like a sangria with fruit pieces inside. Instead it looked kind of murky with fruit chunks floating in it. She took a small sip to taste it, but at the same moment, Rosa bumped into her from behind causing Shelly to swallow the whole bowlful of wine.
