Chapter eight(Flash back)

Axella walked as fast as her leg could carry her, the girls dorm was as quiet as a grave yard and it ignited more fear in her.

She stopped walking when she got to her room, and she immediately placed a quick knock on the door, which Pearl immediatly opened, cause she was worried sick about her.

Axella walked inside breathing heavily, she was really scared that she began to shiver.

Pearl locked the door and walked up to where she stood and pulled her into a warm hug.

She unlocked from the hug when she noticed how Axella was shivering.

" Calm down, just breath in and breath out"Pearl said and Axella did as she was told, and it actually helped a bit cause she became calm.

" Why weren't you picking my calls"Pearl asked and Axella was silent cause she hasn't fully recovered from the fear which was in her.

Pearl understood and didn't ask any further question until she was stabilized and was able to talk

" Am sorry Pearl I placed my phone on silent when I was reading"Axella said and shut her eyes tightly before letting out a sharp breath.

" So tell me why were you afraid"Pearl asked even when she knew what might have happened to Axella.

" I won't walk at night ever in my life again"Axella said and lay on her bed, while Pearl couldn't hold back her laughter, she started laughing and Axella turned to her giving her the " are you okay" look.

Pearl stopped laughing and walked to Axella's bed and sat beside her.

" Tell me what happened?"Pearl said stroking her hair and Axella sigh.

" Can we not talk about it please"Axella said and Pearl nodded.

" Pearl can you stay beside me till morning cause am damn scared and I might breakdown if am alone"Axella said and Pearl nodded slowly.

She kept stroking her hair softly till Axella slept off, and she also slept beside her on her bed.

✴✴ Immediatly the clocked ticked to 12 midnight, Pearl suddenly opened her eyes and blinked her lashes rapidly, she raised her head from Axella's head which she slept on, and slowly bent her head and stare at her nails as they grow longer, her eyes turned red immediatly, her face became pale and veiny, and her fangs grew out.

Her throat began inching for blood and she turned slowly to sleeping Axella with her red eyes.

She kept staring at Axella's neck as she breath and her throat inch more, she became overpowered by her thirst for blood, she stood up slowly and aimed for Axella's vital cord. She began to move slowly to her till she became so close to Axella's neck, Pearl was about to bury her fangs inside Axella's neck, when the lights suddenly turned on, and that was when she snapped out of imagination.

" God I can't do this to Axella she's my best friend, and I prefer going to hunt animals than to suck her blood"she shook her head clearing of the thought, she took in many deep breaths till she was able to control herself.

The light suddenly went off again which means it was time for hunting. The principal already warned the students who are vampires secretly to go hunt outside the school cause she can't afford to loose anymore students.

Pearl stood up immediatly and ran out with a speed above any normal human ability .

✴✴ All the vampires teleported out of the school and stood at the back of the school staring at the forest ahead of them.

Arnold teleported closer to where Terrick stood and glared dangerously at him, before teleporting into the deep forest.

The sounds of crickets, sound of the gentle breeze, and the sounds of dry leaves where all coming from the forest as they made faint noises.

Terrick had a very dangerous smirk on as he cracked his neck with his both hands and followed the left part of the forest, and they all went their separate ways.

Terrick was about taking the left part of the forest when he smelled a human blood, and began to move deeper into the forest as his eyes never failed to scan every nooks and corner of the forest.

He suddenly stopped when he saw a woman and her son lying down on the ground which was filled with leaves and their bags was used as pillow.

They were travellers who needed a place to lay their heads, since they haven't arrived at their destination.

Memories came flooding back, and tears filled his eyes that instant. It was the place he buried molly his pet seven years ago.

FLASH BACK

The breeze blew gently, as the night was cozy, the moon was shining brightly up there and a boy was sitted on a broken branch of tree in the forest.

His eyes were red with tears as an animal lay lifeless at his front. His fangs, nails and veiny face returned back when they already did their jobs.

" Why did I have to kill you Molly"he muttered as tears kept rolling from his cheeks.

He couldn't hold back his thirst for blood, so he walked into his pet's house, he grabbed the dog by its neck and aimed for it's vital cord and immediatly the dog who was struggling suddenly became mute, and lay lifelessly on the ground.

Terrick tried so hard to stop his sudden thirst for blood but before he could Molly was already dead.

Terrick stared at the dead dog and more tears left his eyes cause of the love he has for Molly.

" I hate my life, I am a monster"he shouted at the top of his voice as his voice echoed in the forest.

" You're not a monster Terrick, you just couldn't hold back your urge for blood, you couldn't suppress it for a long time" a tiny voice he has always wished and always wanted to hear said, and the image of his mom appeared behind him.

Though she was dead but she keeps appearing to him to comfort him, when he needed her the most.

" Mom,"he turned around and saw her image and more tears left his eyes.

" Mom I killed Molly, I couldn't control myself, now I killed my pet "he muttered as tears streamed down his eyes like rain drop.

" You haven't learn how to control your powers Terrick, that's why you killed Molly, and am sure your pet knows where ever she is right now that it wasn't intentional, you didn't kill her cause you wish to"his mom tiny voice said and vanished into thin air.

He turned to the dead dog on the ground and stared at it for some time, before wiping his tears.

"Am sorry Molly please forgive me"he muttered and grabbed the shovel at once and began to dig the ground to bury molly.

END OF FLASH BACK

Terrick stood still looking at the mother and child when Arnold teleported to where Terrick was, and he immediately hide his face so that Arnold won't notice that he was crying and make fun of him, since Arnold has always been his worst enemy.

" I knew it, my nose doesn't deceive me, now I would have a human blood not an animal blood"Arnold smiled devilshly as he licked his bottom lips.

He was about moving a step towards the mother and child when Terrick grabbed his hand, and Arnold turned to give him a dangerous glare.
