Eventually, all the screens disappeared, and my eyes were filled with the scene of the empty classroom in front of me. The more I looked around, the more I thought about whether I had any real friends. Throughout my time in the Human Realiser Project, isolationism and selfishness were coded into the deepest depths of my brain.
I can certainly live without the company of anyone else. The question was whether I wanted to or not.
A few years ago, I would've said that I'd have been fine living without getting close to any other person. But now, I feel as if, ever-so-slightly, my beliefs have changed.
Still, it seemed that I was missing a large portion of my memories.
The headmaster seems to know more about me than I do, from the sounds of it.

(You can determine the location of any person as long as they have a drop of your blood on their body. This ability has infinite range but becomes annulled when the victim removes the blood from their body.)

Car Devil's Blessing [Common]
(You are able to hotwire any vehicle and drive without needing to learn anything about the vehicle. You are also able to perform repairs on a vehicle. However, you need the necessary tools and equipment and parts. Having this ability active requires you to touch a car every few minutes; otherwise, you will sustain a major headache.)

They were both abilities that had their uses. I practically never drove a car, so I didn't feel as if the [Car Devil's Blessing] was all that necessary to me. Most uses of it would require robbing a car off of someone, which would likely cause more trouble than it was worth. Especially the part about needing to touch a car every few minutes. It just sounded like a hassle.

This will occur no matter the circumstances in it doing so. There is no way to cancel it once it is active.)

It sounded like a pretty nice ability. It basically stopped me from being fully killed, or even if I did. It would kill anyone near me. At worst, I could use this as a sort of last-ditch suicide attack. Unlike when I normally summon the Devil of the Beginning, this one kills everything nearby instead of just one or two targets.

What was this?
Unlike before, I was given any abilities. Instead, I was given this item.
It didn't appear in my hand or anything... it seemed to have just been placed in some sort of inventory.
I didn't think too much about it.
As time went on, the room slowly filled with more and more students. They looked at me awkwardly, seeming confused as to why I was here so early. Still, they took their seats without any care, taking their stationery out of their bags and plopping them onto the table.
A few minutes later, Astoria walked in the door. We made eye contact, and her glare instantly darkened. It was like she was looking at the most aggravating thing in the world. With an unpleasant look, she took her usual seat beside mine.
I made sure not to look at her. I wouldn't want her melting my chair again.
