Chapter 9 First Settlement Raid

The party entered the settlement first to act is the two Crusader Christoff and Valerie.

Alerted by their shout a pack of Kobold that are chatting in the middle assume battle position. Base on the number of tents and the size of the Kobolds there are at least 80 of them here in this settlement.

One of the Kobold grab the horn on its waist and blow at it to signal that they are being raided.

Christoff and Valerie then charge forward and attack the first Kobold pack. They used their shield instead of their sword to just incapacitate their target making sure not to accidentally kill them since the Novices need this for their quest.

"Shield Bash!"

"Novices get ready we will start disabling the Kobolds so you can finish them off!" commanded by Christoff.

Cleo, Leah and Novices nods and starts picking off the incapacitated Kobolds one by one. This goes on for more than an hour. The Crusader made the raid look easy but in reality for this size of settlement they at least need to have 50 Novices that knows basic formation as to not suffer major casualties.

"Leah I'm almost finish with the quest if you're done stay close to me. This quest is too easy maybe because we are being accompanied by two Crusaders but I still have this unknown feeling that I can shake off." whispered by Cleo

Leah just nods without looking at him while aiming her dagger to the Kobold in front of her stabbing it into its eyes to secure the kill.

Leah was surprise with the notification she wants to share this information with Cleo as soon as possible but she decided to finish her quest and wait for Cleo to finish his as to not make an unnecessary distraction to her darling.

The number of Kobolds started to dwindle down. Cleo, Leah and three of the Novices already finish their job quest.

"Darling? I think there is something wrong with my system." whispered by Leah to Cleo with a worried tone while sharing her notification to him.

Cleo then examined her status screen. "What is this (Int)? Is it intelligence, doesn't make sense." replied by Cleo. He thought of asking the Crusaders about this but decided against it remembering about how rare people that have God's Gift.

"Let's try to find information at the Public Library once we go back for now this will be our little secret, ok?" whispered by Cleo.

Leah just nods and her cheeks turn beet red.

Shield Bash - Gathers mana on your shield and slams the target.

Sword Mastery - A skill that is etched to the genes upon changing to Swordsman Job.

Sorcery Mastery - A skill that is etched to the genes upon changing to Sorcerer Job.

Sword Dash - Launch to the chosen target while dealing damage. Damage is base on strength while the speed of the skill is base on Agility.

Sword Wave - Gathers mana on your sword and can unleash it by doing a slashing motion.

Conjure Sword - Conjure a sword using mana. The damage of the sword is base on Intelligence.
