Chapter 17 Lap Dog

A trail of blood can be seen in a road that leads to a dark alleyway its as if someone deliberately dragged a corpse to lead in that direction.

Following the trail multiple sever limbs scattered everywhere and two decapitated heads that looks familiar. These heads belonged to the patrons of the Inn where Cleo and Leah currently staying.

A mysterious shadow can be seen leaping out from the alleyway.

"What's the meaning of this Arthur!?" shouted by a middle aged man with a raspy voice.

"Calm down! Christoff! I told you there's no other way and were too far behind with our plan." answered by the Paladin that wore a lion head shape armor with an intimidating voice paired with a piercing gaze.

"Is it really necessary to defile the bodies in that way?" says by Christoff while clenching his fist.

"We need to achieve two things. One we need to restrain Valerie by pinning the murder on her and second in order for that lap dog of the King to go investigate the murder itself. We need Camilla to leave the palace in order for us to proceed." explained by Arthur.

Even as a guild leader and one of God's Chosen. Arthur still fear Camilla one of the best Knight in all of Lavierre Kingdom due to her having multiple unique skills paired with high grade equipments that was sponsored by the Kingdom.

"Ready all the guild members who knew our plan. Camilla is a tough opponent but even she can't handle multiple high level Crusaders and Paladins." commanded by Arthur.

"How about Valerie? What will happened to her?" anxiously asked by Christoff

"Don't worry we won't abandon her worse case scenario she will be confined and tortured but Valerie is a tough woman she can handle that much. Its just we can't afford to have another variable if we want to successfully eliminate Camilla." answered by Arthur.

If Christoff doesn't know any better the moment Arthur says those line he'll attack him by now however he is aware of Arthur's God's Gift so he try hard to suppress his anger and followed Arthur's command to gather the guild members.

In a dimly lit stone walled room a woman that has a short silver hair with a muscular body and looks not older than 30 years of age can be seen playing with a rusty pliers.

"Who sent those letters to the King?" asked by the short haired woman with an intimidating tone.

Before she can get an answer to the man strapped on a chair infront of her another Knight interrupted her.

"Lady Camilla! You are being summoned by the General!" announced by the Knight that wore a full plated heavy armor.

"Its your lucky day." says by Camilla to the bound prisoner.

'What's so important that they need to interrupt my fun time. That fucking old goat this must be worth my time even if he's the General I don't think I can stop myself' says by Camilla inwardly.
