Chapter 51 They Never Learn

An average built young man that wore a brown hooded cape mounts a horse.

"Darling are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" asked by the red headed woman.

"It'll attract more attention the more people come and besides I need you to stay here as well." replied by Cleo. "Leah I hate to put this burden on you but if you feel threaten at any point don't hesitate." he reluctantly added.

"Don't worry darling I know what to do. Lean closer." replied by Leah while gesturing at Cleo.

Leah hug Cleo by his neck and the two lock lips together.

"Take care. The same goes for you as well." says by Leah whose reluctant to step out of their own world after almost 5 minutes.

Cleo just nods then kicks his horse. The horse release a neighing sound and starts to gallop while slowly building up speed.

After a long scenery of lush green forest. Cleo stops at a road sign. Two arrows pointing at two different direction with different names on it.

The one that points north says Elven Forest while the one that points west says Venundarr, City of Gold.

Cleo heads north to go at the inner area, specifically at Lion's Mouth hideout. He needs ample preparation and insurance before he proceeds with his plans.

Clyde share some information about Magus and Duskfall Guild to him before he departed.

Magus Guild consist of the best human mages in Lavierre Kingdom. If not for them having a strict requirement of only accepting Mage jobs they can rival one of the top 3 guilds of Lavierre Kingdom despite not having a God's Chosen.

Duskfall Guild on the other hand is more diverse however they somehow have a priority of accepting Thief and Archer jobs to produce the best assassin.

If not for this two guilds combining their strength to cover their weaknesses they will a tough time facing Hallows guild which rank second strongest guild in Zirracania Alliance.

With these information Cleo decided to enlist the Lion's Mouth and put them on standby near Venundarr as backup.

However he has a low expectation since his relationship with them is still being governed by fear and not respect.

This is the perfect chance to test their strength and loyalty.

After several hours of riding. Cleo saw the familiar gate at the end of the horizon.

"What do we have here?" says by an orc while approaching Cleo while while licking a knife.

Roark already learned from his past mistakes and describe the appearance of Cleo and bis party to his members however Cleo is wearing a hood that hides his most obvious features.

Cleo once again felt a sense of deja vu.

'Is it really mandatory to lick a knife if you're a bandit.' says by Cleo inwardly.

He can't help but to wonder since this is also famous cliche in his previous world however up to this day he still didn't know the purpose of it aside from catching some kind of disease or risking cutting one's tongue.

'I guess this is a good opportunity to earn some kind of respect.' says by Cleo inwardly while dismounting from the horse.

Cleo rush towards to the orc that is in the middle of doing his cliche bit.

He clench his fist and winds up his arm to prepare a punch.

The punch connects.

The speed is too much for the orc to process, resulting with the knife that is position on his tongue to graze it.

The orc fell down. He regretted copying his senior's taunting move. Even he didn't knew why they were doing it.

"I told you not to do that shit, you idiot!" shouted by the elf whose also guarding the front gate.

The orc tried to retort inaudibly due to the cut on his tongue.

"Alright kid I don't know who you are but I can't let you escape now." threaten by the elf while bringing out a dagger from his spatial ring.

Cleo ignore the threat and check their status. The elf is Lv.25 Thief while the orc is a Lv.21 Barbarian.

He then rush towards the direction of the elf.

"You only caught Gorgo off guard but..."

Before the elf can finish his sentence his vision darken and he felt a few of his teeth broke before entering dream land.

Cleo finally remove his hood to end this charade.

'Red hair and scarlet eyes that belong to a kid?' says by the orc inwardly.

This might be the orc's unluckiest day, not only he injured his tongue with his foolish action he also offended the only person their leader feared.

"Don't pretend to be unconscious. Get up and bring me to Roark." says by Cleo while looking at the orc who tried feigning death when he finally recognize this young man.

The orc hesitates to get up at first however be stands up immediately when Cleo brought out his sword from his spatial ring.

The orc profusely bow to cleo and try his best to audibly says he's sorry.

Cleo just brush it off and just signal to the orc to proceed with the order.

Upon entering the hideout Cleo saw familiar faces and a bunch of fresh faces as well.

After a few minutes both of them arrive at Roark's tent. The two enter the tent.

"C-Cleo? How can I help you?" says by the surprise huge man.

"How's the progress?" says by Cleo.

"Ah! Yes, yes. River get me the list." says by the huge man with an urgent tone.

The elf then hurriedly took out a scroll from his spatial ring and proceed to unroll it before handing it to Roark.

"As of now we manage to collect 100 Poison Bottles, 100 Alchemist Bomb and 1000 different elemental arrows." enumerated by Roark.

"That's good enough. Distribute them equally to your members that can use them." ordered by Cleo. "Take this. I'll give you a day and buy decent weapons and armors for them as well." he added while taking out 20,000 gold which he got from part of the deal with Clyde.

Both Roark and River's eyes almost bulge out from its socket. This is the first time they saw this much gold in their entire life.

"And just incase you find a slotted armor make it a priority." added by Cleo.

"Uhm... If I may ask why do you need this much?" reluctantly asked by Roark after coming out from reverie.

"Are you ready to make a name for your group?" says by Cleo.
