Chapter 61 Scarlet, Shadow and Silver Showdown
Overgrown plants surrounds the entirety of the building's interior, rays of sunshine passed through the broken windows illuminates some parts, earthy scent lingers around the church.
The armless silver haired woman notice an intense gaze coming from her back. She heard a murmur filled with rage that made her turn around.
"Camilla..."
She heard the name that her late religious mother gave. A name that means a religious attendant or acolyte. A name she then change to instill fear to her enemies.
Camilla was different back then, a stark contrast on how she is viewed today.
If her mother is still alive, she won't probably recognize her once innocent daughter anymore.
After turning around, she saw three figure blocking the only exit. She recognize all of them.
"Valerie, had a change of heart?" says by Camilla with a condescending tone.
"Don't fuck with me Camilla!" retort by Valerie, her beautiful face contorts in anger. "You made too many enemies." she added.
The silver haired woman burst out laughing. Her hearty sinister laugh reverberated around the room.
"Did I torture you enough to the point that you gone crazy?" says by Camilla. "Even if there's ten, no, twenty of you, you can't put a scratch on me." she added.
"You're right..." replied by Valerie. "Is what I wan't to say if not for my friends whose willing to fight with me." she added.
Camilla raises one of her eyebrows saying where does this weak paladin getting her confidence from. She then shifted her gaze to the two red head behind Valerie.
Cleo saw Camilla's shifting gaze, he lowers his head to hide from embarrassment due to the cheesy line Valerie said.
Camilla once again burst out laughing.
"You did gone crazy!" shouted by Camilla, affirming her previous statement. "Let me knock some sense into your brain." she added.
Camilla took out a medium size axe from her spatial ring. She can no longer use her signature twin axe due to her missing limb.
"How about I start with those two." says by Camilla while pointing the tip of her axe at the direction of both Cleo and Leah.
Valerie steps forward and raises her shield to cover the two red heads.
"Berserker's Rush!"
In a blink of an eye Camilla appears behind Cleo.
*CLANG*
Cleo barely manage to parry her attack.
"Conjure Sword!" shouted by Leah.
Leah crosses both of her sword to form a scissor like shape.
"Steel Body!"
Camilla used one of her skill to defend against Leah, she then jump backwards.
"Holy Sword!"
Valerie is already waiting at her landing spot.
The sword that was engulfs with a golden aura struck Camilla at the back.
It connected successfully however to Valerie's dismay it did little to no damage to Camilla.
Camilla's skill Steel Body boost her defense significantly in exchange of draining her entire mana.
Before Valerie can finish processing what happened, a kick caught her off guard resulting it to connect at her abdomen, sending her flying, only stopping when she hit a wall.
"Stay there for now. I'll deal with you later." says by Camilla.
"Lighting Step!"
A streak of red light enters Camilla's sight.
Two swords in a form that resembles a scissors swing at her direction.
She jumps backwards to avoid the assault however the red headed girl is persistent.
A clanging sound reverberate around the room.
The two continue to exchange blows. Leah with the help of Cleo's God's Gift and her skill Lightning Step manage to match the pace of Camilla.
While finding the perfect opportunity to strike, Cleo check Camilla's status with his borrowed Reaper's Eyes.

Cleo's eyes widened in horror. Camilla was indeed a monster he thought. He instantly brushes the thought as to not further distract him in this fight.
Fortunately he almost knew all of Camilla's skill because Clyde explain it to them when they were discussing their plans.
Looking at the bright side, they only need to watch out for the two Asura Mode skills. Calm Mind and Nihilism
He didn't want to be pessimistic but he can't help to wonder why a job that revolves around religion have a skill name Nihilism.
His heart beat became faster, trickle of sweat started to form in his forehead, the thought of Camilla wiping them out envelops his mind.
'Fuck! I need to focus!' he thought inwardly while slapping both of his cheeks to push the negative thought out of his mind.
Camilla and Leah is still trading blows with their weapons. The equal dance between the two is slowly turning into a beat down with the silver haired noticeably having the upper hand.
"Critical Point!"
Cleo checks Camilla's weakness point by using a skill however the usual glowing blue mana didn't appear as if he didn't cast the skill at all.
He cast the skill again but this time he watch if his mana will go down to make sure it trigger.
His mana did indeed goes down however the result was the same.
This doesn't mean Camilla has no weakness, its just that her skill Steel Body had a hidden ability that nullify Critical Points indicators. The weakness point is still there it was just being hidden by her skill Steel Body.
Seeing that his Critical Point is useless, Cleo decides to rush at Camilla's direction intercepting her attack that was directed to Leah.
"Sword Waltz!"
Its Cleo's turn to trade blows with Camilla.
His movement is looks elegant as if he's dancing. Afterimage was being created at his past trajectory making the entire waltz confusing for the opponent.
"Sword Waltz? You're a SwordMaster?" says by Camilla however instead of shock she felt more motivated to fight Cleo.
If not for Camilla's level advantage and combat experience she will most likely lose right now.
Since this is the first time Cleo use this skill. Valerie and Leah can't help but to feel astonished at the red headed young man's movement.
Both Valerie and Leah took the advantage Cleo made to catch their breath and compose themselves.
They still need to lure Camilla outside to prevent unwanted visitor just in case Hallows Guild failed to hold off Magus and Duskfall Guild.
