Chapter 95 Rune Knight vs Weaponsmith

Multiple adventurers from different guilds and party starts to notice the tension between the newly arrived Angelus Guild and the established Thornfarum Guild.

The opportunistic one started to huddle together just in case a fight broke up they can easily set up a betting ring. Those who belong to a much smaller guild just minded their own business and proceed to just go back grinding at the first floor of the abandoned cathedral.

"Hey Master who do you think will come out on top?" Anna eyes shone when she felt the tension keeps rising and it might lead to an inevitable confrontation.

"Siegfried definitely have an advantage due to him being a God's Chosen." Cleo answered, not giving away too much as to not expose his own and Leah's God's Gifts. "Why are you even interested at the first place?" he added however the person who ask is no longer by his side.

Anna crept and proceed to assimilates herself to the betting ring that was slowly forming up earlier.

"Hey Mr. Orc put all of this gold into Siegfried." Anna whispered trying her hardest to blend in with the crowd.

The orc was taken a back by the small voluptuous human woman that brought out almost 5,000 gold. At first he don't want to take the gold since the human in question looks suspicious but the odds are not balance since almost all of the Zirracanian adventurers put their bets on the more well known Thornfarum Guild Leader Thrarael.

"How about you calm down for now Thrarael? We don't want to cause any unnecessary ruckus here, after all your protector was the one who order me to go here at the first place." Siegfried said.

The enrage dwarf didn't believe a single word Siegfried uttered.

"Stop making excuses and don't you dare bring up the protector's name in here!" Thrarael retorted. "Enchant: Lava!" he shouted, can't keep his patience anymore at Siegfried. The huge hammer he's holding starts to ooze lava at the multiple holes from its head.

"Don't do this Thrarael." Siegfried said while distancing himself at the angry dwarf.

"Revolving Strike!" Thrarael ignore the plea of Siegfried, he starts to spin at his direction instead. The adventurers that are spectating also distance themselves, afraid of getting hit by the debris coming from Thrarael's huge hammer.

"Water Barrier!", "Power of Creation!" Siefried shouted. A huge wall made of water and mana emerge from his magic circle at the same time he throws an orb at the ground that slowly forms into a huge golem.

Siegfried successfully repel the attack of the angry dwarf with his two defensive skills. The golem albeit almost taking the full blunt force of the hammer, it is still standing tall.

While Thrarael who got repelled, flew a small distance due to the impact from his weapon and the golem's body hitting each other.

"Stay down Thrarael." Siegfried said while cancelling his Power of Creation skill. The golem that was summoned earlier through the orb starts to crumbles.

However the angry dwarf is too resilient and prideful to stay down.

After catching his breath, Thrarael stood up and prepare to launch another attack at Siegfried. Thrarael recalled his huge hammer.

"Arsenal Barrage!" Thrarael shouted. A sword that is made up of mana materialize in his hand. He then throw it at Siegfried, the moment the mana sword gets out of his hand, a spear then appear in its place. He then proceed to throw it as well. Thrarael repeated this pattern as soon as a new weapon materialize from his hand.

Siegfried tries his best to avoid the barrage of weapons from the angry dwarf.

"Ruination!" Siegfried shouted when he saw that one of the mana weapon will hit him at his left shoulder. Huge magic circle appears behind him. The mana weapon that almost hit him immediately evaporates.

'Wh-what happened? I'm sure that my last attack connects' Thrarael wondered. He then suddenly feel dizzy and his mana starts to goes down without him using it.

The spectators also felt their mana being drain for no reason.

Thankfully Cleo, Leah and Valerie are located at a reasonable distance so they didn't feel what Thrarael and the spectators felt. The same cannot be say at the greedy voluptuous woman who banish earlier the moment Cleo gave her an answer.
