7. Start the level grind
Outside of the game I sat in my chair at my computer scrolling through forms and this has allowed me to realize that I was extremely far behind in terms of level, there were some people already crossing the 75 mark while I was making a maid cafe! I also hear talk of an event
This event would be version 1.1 of Voltnet and would bring along pets and three new classes! On top of this everyone would get a quest and the higher your ranking in the event the better the rewards you would get
If I want those rewards I would have to get to the grindstone, and fast!
Logging back on I rushed downstairs and took dragapi with me
"Where are we going master ^3^?" She asked with not a single thought in her head
"I need to get stronger, and fast!" We made our way into a higher-level zone with the average monster being level 50
"Hmm now that I think about it I never looked at the starting equipment I got with the class" I opened my inventory

The last item was an epic rank short sword, its blade was a pastel red with pastel pin hearts going down the fuller, besides that and the heart-shaped Pommel everything else was just your average sword
I started playing Ballad of a lover which caused Dragapi to perk up before sitting down in front of me swaying back and forth
-the flute resonates with Dragapi! Cupid's true love activated-
"Dragapi"
"Yes :3-"
"Kill" I pointed to a scorpion monster as I played the flute
"Yes >:3-" she busted forwards towards the scorpion and grabbed it by the tail before attempting to throw it only to rip off its tail as it screeched in pain
"Oops…" she walked over to the screeching scorpion and bonked it on the head, turning it into a red mist
"Welp… time to start the grind"

Having Dragapi with me is like having to fight a caveman while you have a rocket launcher, it's just that easy. I'm already creeping up on level 50 but levelling has slowed down tremendously
"Dragapi! Things are starting to slow down, Let's go to another area!"
"Okay… um master… could I…" she walked up to me twiddling her thumbs
"Yes, you can fly me"
"Yay!" She jumped with excitement
After waiting for her to land again after she jumped thousands of meters into the sky we took off
"W-wow! This is fast" I said feeling the wind slap against my body
"I know right? It's so much fun!" She joyously commented
"Wait, flit here" something caught my eye
"Okay!" She stopped flying but forgot to flap her wings to keep us in the air

"Hey man… are you sure this is a good idea?" A one-eyed bandit said to his colleague
"Come on! Don't be like that! All we gotta do is take the girl and give her to the buyer, then we're rich!" The one-eyed bandit's colleague told him
"But… ain't she the daughter of some duke?" The one-eyed bandit whispered
"Duh, that's why she's going for so much! Quickly, get ready! I think that's her caravan" the bandits got ready for their attack
" I'm so glad that we got to see cousin Archie! I can't wait to tell papa all about it" a golden-haired little girl chatted with her butler unbeknownst to what was coming to her
Suddenly fire arrows struck the wooden caravan setting it ablaze
Dashing out of the caravan the girl and her butler were stopped by a group of bandits, the butler fought with all his might but eventually, they were cornered
"Eyeball, you're the newbie, right? finish the job! You know, as a right of passage thing!" The leader pated the man with one eye on the back
"I don't know man… I've got my own daughter at home and I don't think I could do that-" he was interrupted by a pat on the back
"If you do this one thing you could live in a mansion with your daughter! Hell, you could give her a mansion of her own!" The bandit leader encouraged the one-eyed man
"Y- yeah… Yeah! Hand me the rope!" The bandits started cheering before noticing a shadow below them that was slowly getting larger looking up a massive reptilian monster was belly-flopping at them the only thing they could say was a grunt of confusion and shock before being turned into meat paste
"Dragapi you dumbass" I cupped my face with my hands and before I could even apologize we were suddenly in the air again
Looking at the dragon her deep red scales were now a hot red
"Looks like someone's embarrassed…" I commented
