Sitting next to the egg I watched it as it shook back and forth, it started doing this after its progress crossed 90%
Checking the system panel again I see that it's had moved up to 98%. Suddenly a loud cracking sound came from the egg. Turning my attention to the egg I see that a large crack had spread across its surface
Taping noises came from the egg as more and more cracks appeared on the egg

A fox suddenly bursted from the egg, where the orange would be on a normal fox was instead a pastel pink with a white underbelly. From its backside came an extremely fluffy tail

"It's… Adorable!!" I shouted before hugging it causing it to release a squealing sound
"Oops! Sorry, I didn't mean to crush you!" I ruffled its pink fur
"You're such a cutie!" I said in a high pitched voice as I rubbed its chin
"Wait… what should I name you… Kuruma? No we've already got one reference I don't think we can afford another… swiper? It's not anime but it's still a reference so that rules it out… umm… Vixen? I mean it literally means female fox but… it can… also be seen in other ways… Aha! What about Vix! Perfect! From now on you are Vix" I held the fox up high
"Now… what next… damn the author hasn't thought this far yet…" I started to walk around town as the fox rested on my shoulder
"Know what, let's try making our guild bigger!… but.. how do I do that? Do I just put posters around?" I looked at the adventures guild board but there were no guid announcements so I decided to check irl message boards
Opening my web browser I type up a draft and post it, it took a couple of hours but only a few clicks came in, and only 1 out of every 100 people left a comment

Stretching in my chair I notice the time, guess it's time to retire for the night
The next morning I woke up with a large stretch, after eating a simple breakfast I got in the shower before returning back to the virtual world
"I've got 2 hours of free time before I have to go meet the new guild member…" I walked around for a while while buying some snacks
Returning to the cafe I still had 30 minutes so I played cards with Lan until I heard the sound of the front door bell ringing
"Are you Semi_conscious from the guild posting?" A young woman walked in, she had maroon hair tied into long twin ponytails at the sides of her head, she had bright pink eyes and she wore a hoodie combined with a skirt
"Mhm, you must be strawberry?" I got up and shook her hand
"Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you" she shook my hand
"Before you can join I'd like to ask you a couple questions, make yourself comfortable" i gestured to the chairs before interrogating her. After a couple of minutes I managed to make a simple profile of her
