Agreeing To Meet

Liang Xun drove Sun Jia home first. Then, he rejected staying over and brought Jing Yao home.

He knew that Jing Yao didn't like unfamiliar environments. Although she didn't resist interacting with his parents, she felt completely different every time she was at home and elsewhere.

When she was at home, she would seem very relaxed. When she was elsewhere, she would always be more reserved and not talk much.

The auntie came back early. Seeing that the two of them had arrived home, she brought the soup that had been brewing for a long time to Jing Yao and urged, "Drink it quickly. You must be exhausted after a long day."

Jing Yao did not refuse, but she saw Liang Xun staring at her as she drank the soup.

She stopped what she was doing and asked suspiciously, "Do you want some?"

Liang Xun stroked her head. "I'm not drinking it."

Jing Yao nodded in disappointment. She thought that someone could help her share half a bowl.
